In defense of Keefe the Leafs had to do everything possible to give Sammy a chance at snapping out of it. Team wise, future wise, asset wise, you have to give it every chance. Unfortunately yes he is now unplayable and needs to be sent down. Bring up Hildeby to back up Jones until woll gets back. Couldn't be any worse.

Idk, the team has been f***ed over horribly by Samsonov tonight yet again. They can only overcome it so many times. It has to go through their heads that no matter how good they play, the other team can score off any shot. Samsonov has yet to have an actual starter level game this season.

This game Samsonov sabotaged them more than anything

btw, this is another example of the leafs trying to outskill and inferior opponent instead of outwork them. it happens every game, sometimes we win, often we lose. its been a pattern for years now.
