I am surprised by the lack of trades at this point as well. I know Saginaw had one that was suppose to be done before the break but couldn’t get it done and then was suppose to be finalized this past weekend but still not done. It’s not as exciting as the other rumors floating around mainly because Saginaw doesn’t have much to trade. At face value looks like a deal to get some picks so maybe they can go get some Defensive help. Just not sure what Saginaw can get for the people they have on the block (Hay, Bishop, Gervais, Sima, PJ, Glavin). Might have to throw in a young forward like Cloutier. The challenge is nobody knows when Igor is going to play so you can’t trade Cloutier or a Mangione until you figure out if he is going to play. First game was suppose to be the 28th but right before the break went back to San Jose and still not back. Just weird. Not sure how anyone gets excited about the names they are shopping.

i think they are looking to move ethan hay for picks, think they will keep sima and glavin.

The way Soo fans talked about him last deadline, we thought we were getting a future stud.

Outside of trying hard, he's an absolute dud.

We have Soo fans who still think Flint won this trade so please stop taking everything Soo fans say with value lol

Hay will be gone this week probably to Kingston. Sima is on the blocks but not much demand for a high energy guy with a wicked slap shot who hasn’t been within 10 feet of the net since 2022. Best hair in the league and has a future on Canadian Soap Operas. Glavin should be gone but again, not sure there is interest in a soft defenseman who can’t clear the zone, can’t stop anyone, and takes bad penalties. He thinks he is an enforcer except that he is soft, can’t fight, and is a liability with the penalties. Nice kid though.

This has got to be the most accurate description of these players I have ever read. Sima just got worked over by a rookie the other night.

Speculation: Heard a certain number 77 is headed to the NCAA next year @OHL_Scoops

Can you post the link to that Tweet? I can't find it.

I honestly can't remember where I recall reading/hearing/seeing it, but, within the last couple of weeks, there was a discussion about high-profile players moving to the NCAA next season. This post triggered the "oh, I remember that!" in my brain.
