believe oshawa has a deal done with gibson coming in. I dont know but 99 percent believe smith and picks going the other way.

If Smith is going, it likely means the rumoured first deal with Griffin also included and one fo the two 19 year old forwards also being included. Any indication that is still on the table?

Amen!
Also, I believe the Wolves have the most draft capital to operate with. Go hard Paps, this team/community deserves a chance.

This is not a good idea. The Wolves need way too much to be a deep playoff style team. They need 2 forwards and that's if Musty isn't traded, 2 defensemen and a better backup goalie. What do you have to give up for all of that and is all of that available.?

Getting Noel Nordh to fill your import spot makes a ton of sense if they were to add.

Blonda, Jackson and chitironi likely gone if they buy. Blonda will be first thing a team wants. We also know atleast a 2nd and 3rd plus for a back up

Well let's put it this way. Next year will be the sell off year. Walton and Villy will bring back several picks and or players. If Pap can pull a couple surprise moves without breaking the bank or players reporting that we didn't expect this could be a decent run.

Which of Barrie, Oshawa, Niagara, Kingston, Brampton or Brantford are you expecting to beat and then which of the others are you beating second round?

Such negativity. We have a great group that is buying in led by a pretty solid coaching staff. Adding to this roster makes them tough to beat and I believe the other teams should be concerned as well. They all can be beat IMO.

It's not being negative it's being realistic. We need like 6 new players to have a chance as is, all these teams will being adding players as well and we have 1 win against barrie, Kingston and Oshawa torched us. Brampton we went to OT with twice that is depleted by injury and wjc. Its just reading the situation that's all, don't think it's worth losing Blonda, Jackson plus for a any team can win on any given night scenario.

Don't get me wrong they have done better than expected but we haven't faced many of the top teams except Barrie.

Let's see how it shakes out. Paps can pull out some pretty solid deals at times. Maybe he strikes gold on a couple. We need 3 F and 2 solid D.

We will see, but our D would still run

McCoy - DeAngelis
New guy - O'Dell (maybe moved too)
New guy - Ewels
Bruce

Does the help our hurt our PK, I remember when they brought Musty back along with Molnar the players that came out took away from our pk till they came back now you are potentially removing them again.

Also Gibson already gone by the sounds of it.

You can’t be serious, last year at this time we were first in our conference his solid deals You speak of had us land up in fifth at the end of the season. He is a fence sitter with one foot in the water with his sock on.

Yeah, sure he was bud. Let me guess, you are another 'insider'. 😂
No? I just happen to have seen what he was offered and it was 6 picks and 2 07s that when broken down was equivalent.
Lose in the first round and lose him for nothing I have no skin in the game and could care less lol.
I wouldn’t have chimed in with details if I didn’t know for sure.

I didn’t forget that he’s 19 and has limited say.
You guys are welcome to believe what you would like.
He had a good offer and said no which is his right as GM.
I wouldn’t call it a genius move though.
I believe 1st round picks with Gold package can refuse trades to certain teams. Please correct me if I’m wrong.

Since his trade demand in the fall he has a select amount of teams he is willing to go to. Not sure if that has changed. If Erie was one of them, I would say with the injury update on Shaf today they are probably not adding.
Unless one of his preferred teams step up he’ll be staying. Plain and simple. I’m so happy our GM asks for the moon on him. Musty is the best player available prior to Jan.10 and the return should reflect that. As a fan I wouldn’t expect anything less.
For all the aforementioned reasons, I think he stays and we add depth. But again, who the hell knows.

they were offered a better deal from flint, 12 picks over the summer. He wanted more.
My guess, that’s a kind way to say, “the player doesn’t want to go there” while protecting the player…who knows
Besides not all picks are equal.
Just let our delusional GM do his job and save judgement for Jan.11th.
