Btw why is Zadorov effected but not Compher / Greer / Morrison / Smirnov? Isn't the entire ROR trade tree pulled into the Lindros tree? I doubt Smirnov ever makes it in the NHL and Morrison is having a disappointing year, but Compher is already in the NHL and Greer is getting closer & closer to sticking for good.

You're right, I didn't catch the followup trade. Greer/Morrison/Smirnov added to the tree, bringing us to 712 players.

So... at least 75% of trades since the Lindros trade are all linked to the Lindros trade. I find that sums it up perfectly.

They're not reflected in the trade tree yet because I'm waiting for the TDL to do an update, but FWIW today's Brassard trade and last week's Gaborik trade both came from the same branch of the tree (Duchene -> Sarich -> Gratton -> draft picks -> Dubinsky -> Delisle -> Brassard/Gaborik)

Fun work, but the butterfly-effect is more or less by definition that you change the world with "nothing". The butterfly effect of the Lindros trade is more, like, every child being born since year 2000 is not the same child that would have been born if the trade haven't happened. Sorry if it looks like I don't get your point.:naughty:
