Frank the Tank
The Godfather
Watching the highlights I realized that the Oilers abused Lybushkin all game. He was as terrible as Walman was great.
Yep, I have no problem acknowledging when he’s had a good game and makes a big save. The glove save he made was likely his best of the season and saved them from OT.Yup, that's me. He did his job tonight...and still sucks. I'm looking forward to a goaltending change in the off-season (even if he remains with the team), but am hoping he can do his best as he's who they've got until then.
The team tends to play to their level of competition.lose to anaheim beat dallas explain that one.
He's getting senile. Time to retire. Are we including the day drinking, or just what he had at the rink?
Elon Musk? And Leon missing another empty net is proof that we live in a simulation designed by a total asshole.
He's a glorified Vinnie D.Watching the highlights I realized that the Oilers abused Lybushkin all game. He was as terrible as Walman was great.
Dog park defence.Still might not be enough the way we cough up the puck and turn into the keystone cops in our end.
I hear you.Special teams staff needs to swallow their pride and change it up.
PK system makes no sense for the personnel that this team has. This team feels like it should prioritize not allowing cross seam passes, not running a system that allows them more frequently. What am I missing?
At even-strength I did notice him laying on the ice a lot after receiving a big hit.I’m not going to get cocky but I only noticed Rantanen on the PP last night lol
That’s not true- their record against the top 10 teams in the league is abysmalThe team tends to play to their level of competition.
He wont be with the team much longer. Not hard to see why he was waived. The 4th line got pretty run over tonight. Kapanen just isn’t a good center no matter what the org says.
He continued the physicality and on one play could've been sprung into the zone if Kapanen had his head up but instead went a mile offside. He deserves to stay in the lineup if he keeps the physicality up. Hell even Connor Brown threw a big hit. Hitting is contagious. How was the second game of Max Jones?
Emberson is basically a rookie (only 30 games last season)and has already played double the number of NHL games this season. Rookies tend to fade as the season goes on because they have never experienced the grind of a full NHL 82 game season. Now that Emberson has played enough games to avoid Group 6 free agency, the Oilers can rest him down the stretch, which would also get Stecher and Klingberg some games.Yeah I think he had a decent start but hes been dropping for awhile. The whole team has really. But being a young player, you would think he would get better as season goes. Judging by ice time, I think the coaching staff will push Klingberg once he’s healthy
Dude has quietly had one of his best years this season. He gets a lot of slack from me given what grief (most of it deserved) he has gotten from fans in prior years.Nurse had some bozo plays
Why save either?Nobody is a more pompous ignoramus than that f***ing clown.
If Gregor and Spector were stranded on a desert island, and I happened upon them while piloting my two person boat, able to save just one, you can be damn sure Gregor would spend whatever remained of his life eating f***ing coconuts.
it was his first game with a brand new team, I thought he looked great when you consider that fact. I'm so bummed that they didn't have the assets to make that trade happen. Rantanen would of been amazing on Draisaitl's wing for the next 8 years.I’m not going to get cocky but I only noticed Rantanen on the PP last night lol
