Hope Kulikov is okay.

OT goal looked a bit like a set play, with Little hanging back on the right side for the Buff centering pass.

Other teams are just happy to get a point of the Jets now. Even with all the other hot teams, the Jets keep racking up points and knocking off road games on their schedule, without two of their top 3 C.

I get the feeling that Roslovic might stay a while. He certainly seems to have moved ahead of Dano in Maurice's depth chart.

Happy for Armia. Such a good player.

Buff huge on game winner and that's coming from a guy who seriously dislikes him

He protected the puck well but went for the wraparound and missed. Luckily it slid off his stick right to little.
One nice possession play does not make up for a half dozen absolutely horrible plays the rest of the game.
He can’t continue to play that way.
Thank goodness we still got the two points. M

I'm working out East this week so I found a San Jose feed from my hotel (Good Wi-Fi), I like the SJ PBP guys, very fair.
Hey, they even have a post game show. I miss that! (Stupid SN & TSN!)
Anyway, entertaining game, many giveaways, decent reffing, a horrible Buff giveaway. OT win!
Roslovic looked good enough to be promoted over O'Connor, just needs to score his first then hopefully the floodgates will open!

For a team playing on the road, missing their elite two-way center, their elite checking center, and a mid 4 D? I'm fine with how this panned out. Yes, Buff's penalty was colossally stupid and selfish. Mistakes happen. Take more of the good, less of the bad for next game.

Good:

Perreault - Little - Ehlers: Great game by these 3. Good to see Little scoring a couple of goals. Perreault is just relentless. Ehlers had a couple of sketchy moments in his own zone but he brings so much to the table offensively.

Tanev - Copp - Armia: They played well as a line. I am not loving Tanev's game though. Beastly game by Armia

Dano - Hendricks - Roslovic: Decent. Hendricks did cost us the first goal though.

Connor - Wheeler - Laine: Yikes! Bad game by this line. Laine was mostly okay though and not to blame until the last 5 minutes. Rough game for Wheeler, glad the Jets pulled out a win for him or I am sure he would have felt bad about that penalty.

what a game.. emotions like a roller coaster buff went from dumbass to kickass in a span of 5 minutes. Now tell me that reaction to the win doesnt boost the teams confidence for a playoff type battle more than a 5-1 win would have? anyone whose played knows these kind of games are the best to be apart of!! love it!!

I kinda think that was intentionally a pass by Buff. When he started to go down and around the net Little set up on the other side of the net and Buff sent it straight to him.

I give Maurice some credit for his coaching in this game. He has a tough task handling Buff. He knows he's a game-changing talent, but can be very frustrating. Putting him out at the beginning of OT paid short-term dividends since Buff made a game-changing play. I think it's also important for Buff to be highly motivated to buy in to the team and concepts. He's sulked a bit recently, and Maurice can't afford to have him in the dumps. Watch the rest of the Jets players after the OT goal. They were all over Buff with stinky gloves and other teammate hijinks. Buff needs that sort of affirmation. Good call by Maurice to start Buff in OT this game.

I love this team. Even with a scattered performance like tonight, they still find a way to gut out two points.

Myers with the go-go gadget arm on Ward's breakaway was so smooth. One year ago, you just know he hooks him and gives up a penalty or penalty shot.

Still taking some undisciplined, dumb penalties (Buff! Wheeler!), but the stick and restraining fouls have been reigned in really nicely. This team knows how to battle without being paraded to the penalty box.

Phew... that would have been a tough loss to take after leading by 3. I don't care if the Sharks got a point. Good on the Jets to bank 6 points in these last 3 games without Scheif and Lowry.

Buff made Burns his ***** on that 3 on 3 play. If the shoe was on the other foot and Burns did that to Buff, this board would be going nuts right now

Kind of how the sharks board is about burns all the time saying he shld be a forward and he sucks at D etc? fans need to understand these are professionals and someone is always going to be made to look a fool of on every team. Buff brings way more to us than he gives up but some ppl are to emotional to look at the whole picture
