I just mean he’s one of many top picks that fizzled in mtl; I should prob have just wrote ”kind of” specific, didn’t mean much by it.Oddly “specific”?

It’s so nice to not just hear about who cares the most and tries their hardest (like since forever…), but rather their skills and team play. I admit it must help they seem like a lot of “character” players to begin with.I think it's volountary.
This team is in development mode, playing tons of kids, no expectation on the season.
It's not the time to ask kids to play head first, get injured for 3 months and slow down their development.
And it's not a bad trend either.....New Jersey, Colorado, Carolina are all in the bottom 6 in the league.
Always good to remind us all how our prospects are in better hands than ever with MSL.......

instead you could have KK at 4.8M for 8 years as the 4th line center...3pts in 19 games...ouch!Jake Evans 1 assist in 18 games and is a -8.
I expected much more than this from this player who was solid last season.
Xhekaj skating with Wideman, is it his turn to sit out?
Hoffman injured, if he doesn’t play does Slafkovsky take his spot?
How true...........that said what cold have MSL done with a kid like KK? Just saying....instead you could have KK at 4.8M for 8 years as the 4th line center...3pts in 19 games...ouch!
That's why you never draft for need. KK is horribleinstead you could have KK at 4.8M for 8 years as the 4th line center...3pts in 19 games...ouch!
They sure showed usThat's why you never draft for need. KK is horrible
Possibly, but isn't Brindamour supposed to be an MSL type coach, one with a fantastic pro career who treats the players with respect and plays the kids? KK isn't missing time and he was on a line with two of their top scorers (Svechnikov and Necas) while managing to contribute essentially no points himself. He's not being benched: he's played a little less recently (avg. 14 mins over last 3 games) but is still on a line with Svechnikov. How true...........that said what cold have MSL done with a kid like KK? Well it's not like he was NEVER going to play again lol, much as I wouldnt of minded thatWideman in? Really?
Brindamour is considered a great coach and his players love him, but he himself mentioned once that he has complex systems that can take a year + to get used to.Possibly, but isn't Brindamour supposed to be an MSL type coach, one with a fantastic pro career who treats the players with respect and plays the kids? Good way to let the guys know not to worry, they have a rotation going I guess… Meritocracy is important, but I’m pretty sure MSL has the room’s pulse, and everyone needs reps. Beats costco and waivers lol.Wideman in? Really?

Slaf had a treatment day instead of practice Friday, he might not have been at 100% that game. The 4th line was hammered in their own zone too, maybe Evans was considered to be playing better than Slaf in that game.About time Slaf gets moved up. I didn't understand at all why Evans got put in that spot last game when Hoffman went down.
Evans hasn't played well in about 16 games this year so I don't really get that logic.Slaf had a treatment day instead of practice Friday, he might not have been at 100% that game.
