Listening to 32 thoughts and Friedman mentions that Pegula will accompany the team to Montreal, so the Sabres might be really ready to go
What does that mean? Buffalo 5-0Listening to 32 thoughts and Friedman mentions that Pegula will accompany the team to Montreal, so the Sabres might be really ready to go
They’ve lost ten in a row. We lost ten in 12. A four and six game streak sandwiching two wins.Buffalo is on a 10 game losing skid. Levi was called up & played in the loss against Toronto on Sunday.
Montreal & Buffalo have identical records: 11-16-4 for Buffalo & 11-16-3 for Montreal, who has played one less game. They even have the same amount of RWs (8) & ROWs (10). Buffalo's goal differential is much better (-12 to -31). They don't get blown out as much as Montreal does.
Montreal getting 2 pts means they jump Buffalo and move out of the East's basement.
Both these teams are thinking the same thing: "This is a winnable game."
Slight advantage to Montreal, as they're playing at home & actually have a .529 winning percentage at home.
Yes. Anderson carrying Dach who is back with Laine centering the 2nd. FML.Re-watching the Jets game and trying to analyze things; there are some changes to the forward lines If like to see:
Caufield - Suzuki - Slafkovsky
Laine - Dach - Anderson
Newhook - Evans - Heineman
Armia - Dvorak - Gallagher
First line is all skill, second is skill and size, third is energy with speed and some skill and the fourth is what's left over.
Thought about Gallagher on the third but I don't think he should play over Heineman and we need Newhook to develop into something of worth. So Gallagher gets anchored with the wortless, useless bums.
While Anderson isn't ideal for a top six role, his board play of late has been good and he could maybe help out Dach and Laine with that sort of play. Maybe he gets inspired on an offensive line and brings some of his mythical grit to the line as well. If he fails here, switch him with Heineman.
To go where, the trade route?Listening to 32 thoughts and Friedman mentions that Pegula will accompany the team to Montreal, so the Sabres might be really ready to go
Méchant mardi…Habs is the best team in the NHL to end others team losing streaks.
6-4 Buffalo tonight.
And Marty will put a spin on it by saying something like "well they were due for a win after 10 losses" you know after all he was very encouraged by sat night's loss,Wow what an accomplishment after 3 years behind the benchThis is the game where we as fans will say..."we have officially hit rock bottom".
Devon Levi called up means exactly thatSabres snapping that losing streak
Interesting. Except they are in year 13 of their rebuild. We're on year 3. I grow tired of losses so hoping for a resounding win.Buffalo is on a 10 game losing skid. Levi was called up & played in the loss against Toronto on Sunday.

Habs also got screwed by poor officiating that NYR game, and overcame those obstacles to tie it up in the 3rd only to have Dach get a careless penalty at end of the gameRangers struggled? Montreal helped them get a win.
Sabres struggle? Would it surprise anyone if they get a win over Montreal?
