Anybody else think parading the like of Gio and Timmins on ice during practice is just a ploy to hopefully not look desperate for help on the D and thus potentially lowering asking prices for D men?

Mono isn't that bad, so it would be reasonable to expect Timmins to be pretty close to ready to go by now.

If so, I applaud the initiative.

What's a PhD take, about 8 years? The Core Fore are matriculating with highest honours. And they got all their tuition paid for, plus more!
It'll be funny if at the end of his retirement game, Tavares comes out and says "Ooooooh, now I get it!"

Then Gio is not concussed. You have to stay in the dark, no stimulation, basically lay there for two weeks. Had that in our household.

Funny, but as if he is the problem.

As if they are going to pass, let alone get honours. Honours are for those who excel to the top of the class. If they win, they will get all the honours they will ever need.

Another point by Boston, and another 2 for Florida last night. Looks like 3rd is our spot unless inexplicably Tampa or Detroit catch us.
f***, I thought this was gonna be our year to finally take the Atlantic division. Crazy we’ve had so many good regular seasons but never finished 1st in the Atlantic.

Buffalo loses its leading scorer right before the game, yet I'm sure the score will somehow be 8-5.

1 win in 9 games vs Buffalo Boston and Ottawa 😂. Win or lose, Matthews and Marner are p***yes.

That's just not true... it depends on how badly you are concussed... and where you are in your recovery. Concussions are weird things, affect everyone differently, and recover at different rates.

Well.. this isn't true either. Mono affects people differently, and has varying severities. Some people will get mild versions, and what you would be saying is true if that's the case, and others could be rendered useless for competitive sports for months.

With Mono, you often get an enlarged Spleen... depending on how long the Mono lasts.. which can be a week to a month... it is recommended that you avoid contact sports for a month post recovery, so that you eliminate risk of rupturing it... though I'd expect Timmins is under good care, and they are taking precautions.. checking out everything...

Actually, it is true, "Doctor" F.

So your assertion is that EVERY person with a real concussion MUST be in a dark room for two weeks post concussion, or they didn't have a concussion? That's laughable. It's false... like ridiculously false.

A person with a first-time concussion typically recovers fully within a few days to weeks after the injury. No two concussions are the same. This means that recovery is different for everyone.

The Living Concussion Guidelines was developed to improve patient care by creating a framework that can be implemented by healthcare professionals to effectively identify and treat individuals with persistent symptoms following a concussion/mTBI.

Please read the details at the link and learn... I'm Level 3 coaching certified in two sports, with concussion training from Sport Canada.

After the moves that happened today, this game feels even more boring to watch lol

Doesn’t mean they can treat it that way, they gotta win this game. Boston tmrw is a big game, it’s our last chance to get home ice at all, lose and it’s time for game 7 in TD Garden
