Got a point in a loss in their 2nd to last game to go up 3 points to qualify. They then won their last game to go up 5 and the other team lost.

Voila.

So they clinched a spot before even playing their last game, hardly what happened to Florida. Like I said, they were on a roll, and they steamrolled their way to the cup. Going 16-4 against the top regular season teams is pretty convincing if I do say so myself.
