Weekes: Buffalo speculation??

Buffalo's either about to screw itself again by trading Tuch for Matt Rempe, or it'll be your AHL team's 3rd pair D for their AHl team's 4th-line LW.

Buffalo either makes bad trades to help others, or meaningless trades.

If I was a GM, I'd call Adams every day.

logically I think its a Zucker rental, Cozens seems like a horrible time to trade him, he is not playing great.

If he plays even worse or same next season, his value will go down even more. I think some GMs in the league might be high on Cozens, I hope so.

If it's a truly out of left field trade I'd suspect Tampa for a bottom 6 forward. Their last few moves have been really random/unspeculated. Reacquiring McDonagh, Sergachev trade at the draft, Matt Dumba and Duclair trades at the most recent deadline, etc.

Bush league bullshit from Weekes, again.
You guys realize that these are tweets, not HF Trade forum posts, right? If he hears newsworthy rumors (which aren't guaranteed to come to fruition), he'll post these. He actually has countless examples of these things turning out to be true. It's just not always a looming trade. It could be anything--because he's a hockey insider not an Trade Forum mod.

It doesn't matter. It's engagement farming and it makes him look desperate for clicks.

What happened on Sunday night can never happen again for Buffalo. Wouldn't surprise me if the GM/President wanted to fix the team, they move out a bigger piece to start that.

Not that Toronto can say much, as the same thing has happened with them, but when your winning hockey games it's a little more tolerable.

I think Tuch is exactly the kind of forward the Edmonton Oilers need (if a top six forward is the target they're after... and it might be).

He is on the first PP unit AND the first PK unit in Buffalo, correct?
