People haven't been paying attention to Buffalo and it shows. What happened on Sunday night can never happen again for Buffalo. Wouldn't surprise me if the GM/President wanted to fix the team, they move out a bigger piece to start that.
Not that Toronto can say much, as the same thing has happened with them, but when your winning hockey games it's a little more tolerable.
Again, he's tweeting, not posting on the HFboards Trade forum. They don't need to cater to the parameters of what's "Speculation" or "Rumor" worthy here.If you're using this to prove your point
that newsworthy bites could be anything.
You'd understand he's a troll.
Seems like the cost must be low since a deal with Detroit was close at one point, and they don't have much to offer in that kind of trade (all players, no futures). The new team with a lot of Cozens smoke is CAL who have even less to give up....what would the Sabres actually want for Cozens??...Habs fan asking; we have both our own & Calgary's 1st this year and a deep prospect pool...
Apparently a hockey trade and not futures. So that will be mighty hard when they have to be on most NTCs....what would the Sabres actually want for Cozens??...Habs fan asking; we have both our own & Calgary's 1st this year and a deep prospect pool...
Could work something around Calgary 1st, Dach and say a prospect like Mailloux, or Roy?Apparently a hockey trade and not futures. So that will be mighty hard when they have to be on most NTCs.
It's hard to find a deal with Habs, we need top 4 RD and top 6 C....what would the Sabres actually want for Cozens??...Habs fan asking; we have both our own & Calgary's 1st this year and a deep prospect pool...

Well, I think every Buffalo fan has their own opinion on this. I don't like Cozens, and I wasn't a fan of his draft pick and wanted someone else. He has upside, but it doesn't seem like much, although it could be very attractive if he can fix his brain, and right now his brain is just broken. Cozens hasn't been good at center for the second season in a row, and we have guys like Thompson and now Kulich (one of them can be a top 6 C, and the other can play wing), but we also need another top 6 C, ideally a playmaker, but that's as it turns out. There is no place for Cozens at center. On the other hand, we could try him on the wing, where he excelled at the world championship at that position, but for some reason our coach doesn't want to do that. Personally, I just don't see a place for Cozens in our top 9, but not everyone will agree with me....yeah, both teams pretty much need the same thing...so why is Cozens apparently available??...he no longer considered Top 6 material in Buffalo??...
