I've thought a lot about the Sabres, our failed rebuilds, and the best path forward. After much reflection, I think the best path forward is to voluntarily fold the franchise.

I wonder if Buffalo is a logical landing spot for Ken Holland. I don’t think he is a great GM, but they need someone who experience with organizational structure and managing ownership.
There's only one constant remaining since 2011. I'd look there for the answer.League worst record in 2013-14 and 2014-15. League worst record in 2017-18. League worst record in 2020-21. Now flirting again with league worst record in 2024-25 forty percent into the season. It’s hard to fathom how that can happen in a league that’s designed to be completely cyclical in nature.
I think most people by now want Buffalo to succeed. I know I as a Pittsburgh fan miss when teams like Detroit, Buffalo and Montreal were really competitive. It's more fun for the league.I feel like we don’t need to be piling on the sabres. I honestly want to see them succeed as a leafs fan
No, hopefully they end up in last and get bumped to 4th. This management group doesn't deserve to potentially get bailed out by another 1st overall.Sucks for Buffalo. They've got great fans. Hopefully they win the lottery this year.
f*** the mgmt group. I was talking about their fans. No, hopefully they end up in last and get bumped to 4th. This management group doesn't deserve to potentially get bailed out by another 1st overall.

I am one. Another first overall is a bandaid on a bullet wound. We need the patient to just bleed out at this point as quickly as possible so we can move on.f*** the mgmt group. I was talking about their fans.
It's been weird to see the various postings of 'lol Sabres' or 'I hope they lose forever'.I feel like we don’t need to be piling on the sabres. I honestly want to see them succeed as a leafs fan
Honestly as a leafs fan, I loved the rivalry we had when you had miller. I just feel like it’s better for the league when the sabres are good and I really hope they turn it around soon. It's been weird to see the various postings of 'lol Sabres' or 'I hope they lose forever'.
Unless you were also a team losing / fighting for draft position, the Buffalo Sabres haven't threatened your teams' interest in nearly a generation.
On the other side of that, what are the positive on-ice memories for the Sabres the last 14 years? That one 10 game win streak in a November? The time two years back when they made it to April without playoff elimination?
I used to be diehard, passionate, everything Sabres. I no longer watch or go to games. I barely post on hf. I'll still never cease to be amazed at how happy people can get from the misery of others.
Fixed.C'mon Sabres, the consecutive loss record is yours for the tanking... you can do it
