They need Jim Rutherford to come in and drop a chaos grenade and infuse their locker room with some character.

But for real each gm who wants to draft and develop for eternity there is a time to send them out for someone who knows how to find the missing ingredients and make a trade. Someone with a big pair..and that's something sorely lacking in Buffalo.

They should seriously hire Shanahan and have him clean the stink up. Fire everyone but a few in every part of the org scouting, trainers, even the PA announcer. Just get new people in there who do not carry that collective baggage, and then let them decide on the next moves to make. Hire an experienced GM to do that. He did it before

Wouldn't take that long. They already have the smallest scouting staff of any team in the league by a lot.

Imagine what morale would be like at your workplace if the owner brought in consultants for four months, so they could study how much you suck before getting fired.

Probaby beats getting fired four months earlier.

"When the Sabres play A FULL 60"

Simply ignoring context may be the vogue thing for the young, but I don't play that game.
As I said... EVERY TEAM looks good when they play a good game. That's not unique to the Sabres. But they are literally a bad offensive team. Are you going to give every other team in the league the benefit of the doubt and judge them only on their good games?

Please win tonight

I’m so jaded- it’s kinda funnier if they don’t, so if they’re gonna miss the playoffs.. go big with it?

My understanding is that the players approached Terry, only to be told “what? No, it’s all good, nothin is changing!” Someone correct me, that probably ain’t right, but if it is- holy geez. Can’t really blame the players when they wanna address issues but bossman doesn’t give a f***.

And do another rebuild... seriously? Rebuilds take time, and years more losing. Do you really think that the Sabres problem is that they haven't had enough high draft picks?
Maybe the wrong years. What would Edmonton be if they drafted this instead

2010: Hall
2011: RNH
2012: Yakupov
2013: Nurse
2014: Leon
2015: Strome

A completely different universe of a good team maybe, but a bubble team year after year. The holy crap player changes everything.

Ignoring the obvious incompetence with Eichel, Reinhart, ROR, etc, Buffalo could be a different team with Dahlin, Hughes, and Bedard instead of Dahlin, Power, Benson.

I personally think its a culture problem, but drafting 1OA in the wrong years can be argued as well with the RNG of the lottery.

Pretty well. But "since 1999"....nah. Tad harsh.
Sabres went to conference finals in 2010 and 2011. That's "relevant" wouldn't you say.

For sure. Every team looks good compared to the Sabres. Some more so than others.
No they didn’t. The bruins beat them in the first round in 2010 and Philly beat them in the first round in 2011.
2007 was the last season they won a playoff round.
