Everyone else on the ice knows what they are going to do.

#1 forecheck hard
#2 finish checks
#3 B line directly at far post/Goalie
#4 get puck to the net or cycle puck
#5 get to dirty areas

No dangles, no fancy plays. Just wearing the opponent down

I think the D men are gonna benefit big time after watching this clip. Byram reading the play and jumping in. Him and Dahlin will love playing on their toes especially as shift time lengthens.

If Sammy and Clifton wind up as a D-pair sometimes during the year..............those 2 with AKLM are going to hit literally anything in an opposing color jersey and be a complete and total PITA to play against.

Gonna be the 4th line envy of the league.

According to my ESPN+ both the Amerks-Pens game tomorrow and Amerks-Senators game Thursday are on ESPN+ for the out-of-towners.

Honestly, no matter the outcome, it should be fun to watch the Amerks try to keep up with NHL players.

I thought Dunleavy and Ray were going to Europe so I wonder who will have the call on those games.

My bet is Mossbrooks and someone.

Either that OR they're not sending Dunleavy and Ray and they're going to talk in a studio to a feed of the game.

Looks like Thursday is also on MSG.

Agreed. Yes, those two along with Dahlin and Byram will jump in and lay some people out like a safety sitting back ready to pounce when Greg Rousseau is in the face of a QB. lol

Even Power with his reach and skill. I think we will see him chipping and keeping puck in the zone more frequently.

Cozens occupies two guys in front of the net so Benson is left free. I'm starting to get way too excited in how these young guys are(will) respond to Lindy. Cozens off PP1, to focus on his 2 way play. Just be a 25/25 guy that can matchup and help shut down other teams top Cs. What if we see the Cozens that was a PITA to play against and was neutralizing top 10 Cs for a stretch 2 years ago plus 10/15 lbs. Quinn will add the O to that line.

Looking at these lines, any of Cozens, McCleod or Lafferty lines can take the tough matchups. That hasn't happened in a very long time(when Ruff was here). I almost want to see Tuch and Quinn switch.

Looks like they are keeping Byram - Power together for now. They must be happy with how that's going.

If you remember, Byram started camp with Jokiharju while we assumed they wanted Power to start with Dahlin.

Johnson has really fallen from grace. I'm sure he's penciled in as Joker's replacement, but I'm not sure he hasn't deserved more of a shot at the NHL roster.

I think it's more because the chances of RyJo playing in Europe would be VERY low but he will play a ton staying here and with the Amerks. It's more about his development and less about him being behind Clague.

Get out of my mind!

Just posted the same thing over in the roster thread. This is more that Clague is the non-playing spare and RyJo gets to get high-level game action where he's going to be relied upon against teams icing far more NHLers. It's a developmental approach.
