Want to add something to the discussion?
Yes.. you're equating Alex Tuch's value even as a "rental" pretty much on par with Jack Quinn's lol

Eh. I'm a chemist, not a wordsmith.Add a piece greater than Quinn? .. You usually lead with that.
What would you offer for just Brodin? My primary target as a Wild fan has been Peterka; is there a deal to be made around the two with the Wild adding?I'd love to simplify the deal around just Brodin.
As for those guys in particular, McLeod I wouldn't say is untouchable because that would be ridiculous, but he fills a significant role in our lineup that we just dont have a replacement for, I'd be surprised if he moves. With Tuch I could see it go either way. He's either happy in WNY and would like to stick around in which case we re-sign him. The other option being he makes it clear he wants to go to a contender and Buffalo facilitates that. Unfortunately there hasn't been a whole lot of information on that front.
For me? Yeah I'd probably entertain something centered around those 2. I can see some Sabres fans scoffing at the value there given the age gap between Peterka and Brodin, but right now I think that a lock down top 4 defenseman is our biggest need. Peterka would certainly be down the list of guys I'd want to move to land that type of player, but I don't know how many players of Brodin's ilk are on the market for draft picks or prospects. I'd certainly like us to pull a Fiala with Peterka and get our version of Faber, but I have zero faith in Adams to pull a deal like that off. I really have no idea what evens out a trade involving those 2 guys though. What would you offer for just Brodin? McLeod/Tuch being mentioned was more gauging whether they would be available or not. I know Sabres fans love Tuch. The Wild losing him in expansion was awful. McLeod had a nice breakout season. Does he play 2C or 3C on Buffalo?
Definitely not if this is the constellation.
Foligno can't be had. Wild are a win now team. It's not Brodin they are trying to trade, it's Rossi, Guerin isn't letting Go of Folgino. So, nope. Foligno is wild leader and protector. he's not getting traded. Also, Foligno wants nothing to do with Buffalo, he's made thar clearly, he wants nothing to do with Buffalo, and he has a limited no trade clause, even though Guerin treats it like a full no trade clause with him,Peterka and Lafferty for Brodin and Foligno and lets all go to bed
Does saying it twice in one sentence make it a double negative? So he does wanna come home to Buffalo?Foligno can't be had. Wild are a win now team. it has. He has it through this year, then goes down to 16 team no trade in 26-27. Foligno literally hates everything to do with Buffalo, He even openly spoke about his experience there in a shitty way. doesn't matter though because Guerin isn't trading foligno, and foligno won't waiveso it hasn't kicked in yet? So there's a chance....
are you referring to the quote above and jumping off ledges?it has. He has it through this year, then goes down to 16 team no trade in 26-27. Peterka isn’t getting moved.
JJ Peterka
Ryan McLeod or Alex Tuch (if one is more appealing to trade out for Sabres fans, lmk)
Marco Rossi
Jonas Brodin
Riley Heidt or other value balancing piece
Trade breakdown is:
Rossi = Peterka
Brodin+Heidt = McLeod or Tuch
Feel free to comment which side needs to add or if you think it is balanced value wise. I’m a Minnesota fan, so we probably need to add.
General questions:
Are either of McLeod/Tuch available?
What is Peterka looking for on a long term contract?
Bit of an age gap between Brodin and McLeod/Tuch, so I included a prospect to offset the value in age a bit. Let me know if a different prospect works better.
If I'm moving Peterka I'd ask for Faber...not brodin. What would you offer for just Brodin? My primary target as a Wild fan has been Peterka; is there a deal to be made around the two with the Wild adding?

There isnt a world where they move Faber, let alone for JJ.If I'm moving Peterka I'd ask for Faber...not brodin.
Brodin is a left D. It only makes sense is if Buffalo traded byram/ power.
Lol dude, Faber is Untouchable ins every aspect. There's nothing Buffalo has that could get him. He also has a complete NMC. Peterka wouldn't even get Faber lolIf I'm moving Peterka I'd ask for Faber...not brodin.
