Frame it however you want but he was a positive on the team last year and this team plays listless gutless hockey on a nightly basis this year.. Trying something that has worked in the past is better than continuing to do nothing, which hasnt. Im no Rempe apologist but they need to change something and he doesnt require trading anybody.

No you don’t understand. When the team wins games with Rempe in the lineup it’s because he provides a spark. An edge. A George C Scott speech from Patton every pre game.

But when the team loses with Rempe in the lineup well what do you want a 4th liner to do? He doesn’t get enough ice time to matter. You can’t seriously be blaming him?

There's a larger sample size last year of him moving the needle for his teammates, but he had 2 bad games this year so f*** him. Get literally anyone in here who can galvanize the team and get the fans excited. The team got booed off the ice at home twice last week.

Plenty of guys on this team can’t play. Not sure why it only gets held against Rempe. The team is lifeless. They were amazing when they had him backing them up last year. You see how soft they are. He's been yo-yo'ed, and if they keep doing him as a tweener, the excitement lessens a little each time, if it's not already passe at this point. You can't deny that he brings energy to the fans AS WELL AS to the room. Other players have said it. But every time he comes up for a game and is then sent down, people become used to it.

We started with me saying "what could he be doing? He only plays 3 minutes" to the Rempe fans saying "what could he be doing? He only plays 3 minutes" within like six posts.

"The defendant is guilty. The victim was discovered in his trunk on the night of the 6th."

The irony with the Pro Rempe crowd is that his best chance at being a regular at the NHL is going to be via learning how to do things other than punching people well enough to justify his existence.

He’s in the right place for that right now where he’s getting actual reps instead of 3 shifts a game sandwiched in between getting his ass kicked.

His limitations are probably insurmountable, but if he’s can learn to do hockey things at the AHL level and do them well, then it’s worth looking at whether or not he can do them at the NHL level.
