I'm a little surprised at the takes tonight; I thought we played a very good road game. It was far from a picasso, but that's a desperate team in their barn with a lot of skill and we competed well. Blocked a ton of shots, much better shot suppression and better coverage of the middle of the ice all night. Buffalo is much improved this year under Ruff and UPL played a very good game.

Big picture, they actually tried tonight. It's crazy that we have to categorize that as a positive when it should be a 24/7 thing is pathetic but hey, NY sports.

If they put forth that level of compete until the deadline, they should easily be able to float around a wildcard spot. And then you make your moves at the deadline with a booty load of cap space to play with.

Trading Kreider is the medicine this Ranger team and organization needs to take. Boyle and Brooks hit on it on their podcast. He hasn't won here, he has value, he's blocking younger more effective players. It's time. Id give him Christmas to say his goodbyes, get his affairs in order, and submit his 15 team list.

Rempe is not going to fix the make other teams work hard issue. Even with his limited ice time he takes stupid penalties that make it even easier for them.

They barely lost a game with him in the lineup last year. And it definitely made a change in the way they played. Its funny how people conveniently forget they went through a stretch like this last year and came out of it after calling up Rempe and Edstrom. Size and physicality. We have none of it.either call up Rempe or trade for a couple guys who bring that and can play. They should do both.
