Carrick made a great play on Smith's goal. Beat a check at center, carried in, fed Fox. He also created the only goal vs Chicago.

Might be nice to see if he can outshine Lindgren in his minutes. It won't be hard to do that, but you never know.

The good news is that there is no extension coming for Lindgren. The bad news is that there is no trade coming yet. Due time I guess.

Before Miller went down, it was one of his better games of the season. Mika is more engaged. I know tripping someone 30 seconds in is not a good thing, but at least he was playing the body. Lafreniere needs to get his head out of his ass. Too much deferring.

Berard and Edstrom are going to be good ones. Like both on the forecheck. Carve those roles now, cause with changes coming, they could stick and be elevated.

Yep. He was benched after failing to clear the puck on the Mika PPG. The talent is there for Power. He made some really nice plays after being sat by Ruff. Power missed a great opportunity in the 2nd period by shooting the puck wide. Power scored Buffalo's first goal and assisted on the Thompson goal. He had a few other opportunities in the 3rd period. He was never expected to be Scott Stevens. The talent is all there for him to be a major minutes eater on D.

Miller is more athlete than a hockey player. He didn't play D until a few years before he was drafted in 2018. His instincts are not there.

Sabres pushed us around all over the ice. Ran into Igor, played dirty, and we had zero push back, unless you consider Tro nearly getting his head knocked off pushing back. Our defense is small and/or soft .

I had a small glimmer of hope that things would get better with Trouba gone, but they've gotten worse.

Only line I liked tonight was the 4th.

Everyone blamed Trouba- he was one of the few guys with heart on this team. Like Goodrow. Contracts were bloated, I agree but they were NOT the problem.

Others thought Troobs pulled K’andre down…. Ummmm….. miller stinks, he always stunk and it made trouba look way worse covering for him.

Rangers should try Miller at forward before dumping him. Burns and Byfuglien have done it. Make it so he doesnt have to defend and play to his strength. Rangers don't have an outside the box coach, but they need to start thinking outside the box, because this team is a stale ham sandwich.

He gets mauled and crashed into for f***ing years, now they've invested almost 100 million in him, it's time to get some D that arent little boys on the ice. Lindgren and Jones couldnt even handle a 19 year old squirt like Benson in front. If Greenway wanted to be more of a problem, he wouldve had multiple Ranger pelts in his locker after the game. The Rangers lose the physical and mental edge to every team they play, because they have no pack mentality and are afraid to get hurt.
