Accurate, for me at least. I have no problem selling Quinn, but he should be part of a package for an elite player.I’d want more if I’m eating $2.5 million for another 3 or so years on Rakell. I also am skeptical the Sabres would trade Quinn for Rakell under any circumstance

Hell noRickard Rakell max retained

Pittsbutgh adds s 1stt if they want RosenYeah like what was talked about in the other thread, I figure it would be something like Rakell for Rosen and a 2nd if Rakell was going to Buffalo. I don’t think the Penguins retaining half to get Quinn makes sense for either side.
Rakell at $2.5 million vs Rakell at $5 million isn’t worth trading Quinn for, and the Penguins should be prioritizing more assets if they’re retaining rather than fewer but better assets.
unless it’s Sid or Mak Buffalo shouldn’t consider any offer from Pit.
Not to buffaloThat's a bit extreme. Pittsburgh's 1st, Brunicke, McGroaty, Pickering are all interesting chips.
Marcus Pettersson should absolutely be someone we're looking at from PIT, especially if we can get him signed to an extension. Yes, he's a LHD.....but he's EXACTLY what the defense needs otherwise.unless it’s Sid or Mak Buffalo shouldn’t consider any offer from Pit.
It’s just to try to get Quinn vs typical 2nd+prospect for Rakell at his full hit.Unlike most of the league, Buffalo doesn't need someone to retain, looking at their cap situation.
No from Buffalo. Quinn isn't too far from Rakells production even while struggling. Something around Ryan Johnson for Pettersson could work, though. Add pieces to even things out.Rickard Rakell max retained
