Accurate, for me at least. I have no problem selling Quinn, but he should be part of a package for an elite player.

Yeah like what was talked about in the other thread, I figure it would be something like Rakell for Rosen and a 2nd if Rakell was going to Buffalo. I don’t think the Penguins retaining half to get Quinn makes sense for either side.

Rakell at $2.5 million vs Rakell at $5 million isn’t worth trading Quinn for, and the Penguins should be prioritizing more assets if they’re retaining rather than fewer but better assets.

Yeah like what was talked about in the other thread, I figure it would be something like Rakell for Rosen and a 2nd if Rakell was going to Buffalo. I don’t think the Penguins retaining half to get Quinn makes sense for either side.

That's a bit extreme. Pittsburgh's 1st, Brunicke, McGroaty, Pickering are all interesting chips.

Marcus Pettersson should absolutely be someone we're looking at from PIT, especially if we can get him signed to an extension. Yes, he's a LHD.....but he's EXACTLY what the defense needs otherwise.

No from Buffalo. Quinn isn't too far from Rakells production even while struggling. Something around Ryan Johnson for Pettersson could work, though. Add pieces to even things out.
