Mildly surprised the teams are dealing with each other on something this relatively big. Also, I am sad right now thinking how many years ago 2007 is

I haven't been giving Adams enough credit. Sure it seems dumb on the surface to acquire players like Byram and Norris who are one bad injury away from being done. But we're forgetting that there are zero expectations for Sabres players to be physically engaged. Injury history is much less of a concern when you're completely fine with players regularly pulling up on contact.

Docker having lousy numbers with Chychrun and Chabot over the past few years tempers the excitement of a possible OP partner, but we'll see. I think Dmen are less predictable

Here's my take:

Cozens -
PRO: More runway, slightly cheaper AAV
CON: He's been terrible at puck possession
UNKNOWN: He's stats are better away from Quinn and terrible with him. How much has that dragged him?

Norris -
PRO: Some of the hardest deployment in the NHL
CON: Bad possession stats, has less than 2 shoulders
