Confirmed with Link: [BUF/MIN] Buffalo acquires Jordan Greenway for a 2023 2nd (from VGK) and 2024 5th

Let’s put some perspective on the Vegas 2 they gave up As far as value

Power
Rosen
Poltapov
Kisakov
Savoie
Ostlund
Kulich
Leinonen
1st this year
PHI 2
Buf 2

behind that is roughly where the pick will fall, value wise in just this three draft window.

A late 2 is whatever anyway…a late 2 with the amount of 1st and 2nds drafted lately is whatever with an additional whatever

I can think of at least one that wasn't... ;)

But i won't let that cloud my judgement over Greenway. Hopefully a useful piece moving forward.

Sure, I like Stillman too and can't believe we got him so cheaply, but I said "almost every". :P
Nah, you give him the training wheels -- 28 and 21 -- for now.

Screw that. Strap the motivational rocket to him. He'll have 30 goals by the end of the season.

Probably means Tuch is done for most of the season ?

If they can keep him it would add some nice grit and take no b.s. to the roster but he is likely to be demand outside of here

Is someone going to be on the move now ?

draft picks are so incredibly overvalued, you just traded a 20% chance at a player who sees more than 99 nhl games for an actual roster player that contributes

Yes, but when you're using your draft capital on players who haven't exactly been amazing in almost 2 seasons, color me unimpressed. So we gave up a 2nd and 5th for a player who leads our team in hits, but will be what 17th in scoring. Overrated; overpaid, and over pay.

man i just cant think of much less id want to do with him than bury him on a line that doesnt need anymore offensive voids

especially when theres 3 lines overflowing with offense that need a defensively sound player

We don't NEED more scoring. He adds exactly what we lack. And I honestly wouldn't be shocked if Donnie gets more offense out of him.

we gave up magic beans for a roster player

ill color you as overvaluing draft picks

We need guys who won’t get pushed around by big lines. Krebs can’t do it all himself

He won't even be on the list to scratch if/when everyone is healthy. Hino goes first.....then either one of the kids if they're struggling or Jost.
Hino is getting waived for Greenway. Tuch coming back makes another forward fodder

I think Granato turns him back into what he was. And that’s worth a lot more than that Vegas 2nd.

and if he doesn’t? You can always recoup assets for a guy that size. That never changes

It's a good roll of the dice. I'm unsure of his grittiness because I never see it... but hopefully he has it because we need it.

you used a late 2nd and a throw away 5th for 2 years of exactly what this team has none of.
