People willl wonder why we traded him but it wasn't ever going to happen here.
I think he can play a complimentary top 4 role on a hockey team. The Sabres sideshow can even make elite talent look average or downright bad.

My guess is that he'll play a really crisp and clean game for the Bruins.

Agreed. I’m more bullish on Joker getting better away from the Sabres than Cozens.

Top 4 might be pushing it.....but a top 6 role? Absolutely.

I love how the league acts like the time stamps are sacrosanct when there has been a player who TOOK WARMUPS for his old team before a trade miraculously was finalized after the game started at 7:00 p.m. Eastern. That was the Devils acquiring Peter Stastny - he took warmups with the Nords well after the deadline and yet somehow the league was all okay about when his trade was dated and time stamped. :biglaugh:

The Schrodinger's Cat of trades. At this moment, it's both finalized and never occurred.

It's been well over 2 hours. Does this happen in other leagues? Seems like amateur hour.

It’s honestly more than I expected. But…it bares pointing out that a future 4th round pick is the value of a player Adams relied on to be Owen Power’s partner since he turned pro. There was no second attempt. It was this.

That has to change this offseason. Go get the best D you can get.
