Am I just being a bitter betty when I say the ROR goal wasn't that crazy good?

Spawned a thread and all sorts of highlights and push notifications from nhl.com...

No, not at all. It was more luck than anything. He wasn't aiming for that spot , he just basically threw it at the net as he was falling and it went in. It couldve easily gone over the net too. If you watch Enroth's position, he's expecting it to be right in front of him.Actually when you slow it down, Enroth get a piece of it with his stick and it goes in off of it, it might've even been going wide had he not hit it.

Its down right crazy, the Kings by a mile and then everyone else within 4 points of each other.

wow a loss and only 3 pages. I am very surprised

I think everyone was mentally prepared for it

Getting a point after being outplayed until the back end of the third felt like a moral victory. But to be honest, I was miffed we didn't score towards the end of the game or in OT when we started controlling the game. Figures we weathered the storm though, heh. Just hoping they recover in time for OTT

We got tooled all game but Ullmark really came up big in OT. We could have scored on either Kopi's breakaway, Doughty's move through the middle, or another couple of shots before ROR's break.

Hope these guys have some gas in the tank for 3 in 4 on the road in Ottawa...2 OTs, sheesh.

Hope they do too. I really want them to embarrass Ottawa.

LAK: 85 PP opportunities, 6th least in the league, 4th least PP time in league. Road PP opportunities 32, least in the league.

TImes shorthanded, 106, 4th in the league. Yet on the road, 44 times, 21st in the league, home times shorthanded 62, 1st by a significant margin.

If it feels like there's like no powerplays on the road, that's because it's true, which is...let's say oddball...for by far the best possession team in the league.
Its ridiculous.

It sounds lame but how odd is it that the Kings are 6th last with the least PP time and 4th in the league regarding penalty kill. It boggles my mind, looking at the game we are playing.

The refs were letting the teams play last night, it's a shame we just didn't show up lol. Personally I thought Doughty and Kopi came to play.. Unfortunately nobody else did, especially Muzz who IMO looked brutal. Whatever, bounce back and get this game in Ottawa. Getting a point out of that crap performance was a good result.

Yeah the physical engagement was one thing, I'd also suggest the emotional engagement was drained after Pitt pissing, moaning, slashing, diving all over the ice the other night and thinking they won the cup when Malkin tied it up before we delivered the fatality to MJ.
