Happy to get the win. I liked the way we played through two periods but wasn't happy with taking the foot off the gas in the third though.
Helle was a beast.
I thought the defense played pretty well tonight but am not at all a fan of Sbisa playing his offside. Not much choice with the injuries today and I wonder if we see Kovacevik get a call from the Moose.
Forwards were very good through two but were making some silly plays in the third.
Tonight at times was an exhibit of what great puck movement out of our end can do. Motion and quick passes lead to quick zone exits and good play through the nz. We have three plus puck movers in JoMo, Pionk and Niku. Add in Heinola and we have the makings of a quick strike transition defense. Add in a defensive rock with size in Samberg and we have a nice defense. Just need to add one more two way guy to play with JoMo.

Agreed. He is starting to show more and more with each passing game.

The Jets are a living example of how over-rated the underlying stats really are.Needed the win. Underlying stats still brutal
A great goalie makes them look silly.
I'd say Pionk is pretty great at it too but really nice game from Niku tonight

Nope. Definitely not the beatdown the score makes it out to be. Even in a close game though you want your 4th line to play more than that, especially since they looked good when they did get to play. In fact Harkins had the best metrics on the team tonight (small sample alert)

Back in the #1 WC spot. I have a feeling it will be tight until the final weekend with teams jumping up and dropping back on a nightly bases.
