Bryan Marchment passes away

He played to injure other people.
He didn't hold back. And was there to bring pain not seriously injure someone. A guy you wantbon your team and hate to play against. Mike Grier and tm have talked great about him. But let's bring up Brashear who has his own track record and the fact the guy like to lay big hits.

Sorry, but that’s not true. Marchment was one of a handful of players who unquestionably tried for serious injuries on purpose. It’s fair to say he was the dirtiest player in the NHL for a period of time, and he wasn’t even sneaky dirty.

Sad news. I still think about how he wiped out crashing into the open penalty box gate with his head when I see gates open.

RIP

Any reason why he died? Has it been mentioned yet? A lot of people his age, and younger, who are dying suddenly over the last year or so.

Good, tough player who forced the other team into worrying about him when he was on the ice. Played the game within the game like a boss.

Will be missed.

Sad news, always loved those old tough defensmens. He was mean mofo on ice dirty asf.

saw a report he had cancer. As to whether it was cause or not who knows because not sure he’d have been working full time if the case but occasionally cancer treatments can cause strokes or heart attacks. Lost a co worker in remission as a result of this he looked clear and then out of nowhere gone
