With Lavi and Cronin there are at least an argument or two for not firing them.

Our situation: Bruno keeps the mood light and cheerful. When it comes to Xs and Os, adjustments, or really knowing the game ... players want to talk about other coaches they've played for.

Well and I don't think Trotz is looking for a coach he knows has a 2-3 year shelf life no matter where he goes. He's going to want a young guy, its just Brunette is the wrong one.

Gotta admit i hadn't thought about the possibility of using the NFL draft where the Titans have the 1OA as a time to do something like fire Bruno with as little media uproar as possible.

I mean, probably not, but a guy can dream, can't he,?

Stamkos said pretty much the same thing as Marchessault, he just said it with a little more political correctness. If the serial winners the GM is bringing in are saying that the coach struggles to make adjustments, and Bill Zito let him walk because he could t make adjustments, then maybe, just maybe the guy doesn’t understand how to make adjustments to be successful.

I'd argue he wasted two years because the first year should have been spent figuring the young guys out and maybe you move them in the offseason before you stripped almost all of their value.

Marchessault stated the system didn't work ... Stamkos gave a much more filtered version that the totally different system wasn't as effective as hoped .....

Watching Schenn tonight really just drove home how horrible a coach Bruno is. Turns out if you let the guy play to his strengths rather than trying to make him a puck moving defenseman for some unknown reason he’s actually still a real solid player.
