I've been looking for an article from a legit media source as well and haven't found anything either.
Sounds like it was one of the escalators coming down from the balcony seats. Bet it happened while all the media were in the locker room. Sounded really scary from the tweets I read.
My hope is it's not.
Unfortunately, media is typically the last to know. Guess we'll wait and find out. Can't imagine anyone would make this **** up but there are some serious losers out there

They worked hard for that win. Some nice performances from a number of guys, including a few with very little or zero NHL experience.
Maybe Joey Mac is trying to jinx Dougie this year...

Exactly Susan...rough night, but Claude just switched up the D system. I expect growing pains but a much stronger, active D by December.
I hope its fake but misly said she knows somebody who was on the escalator and said it actually happened so thats scary. I just hope the 'blood all over the wall' is being extremely exagurated..

Based on the lack of media coverage, I call shenanigans. Either that, or JJ is actually Kim Jong Jacobs.
One guy on twitter said it broke down and no injuries. I just typed in a search for td garden escalator... Would be really sad if that original tweeter-twitterer had made up all the stuff about blood, screams, and 20 ft falls.

If it just broke down, people most likely were throw forward and may have gotten minor injuries. As time passes, the "blood everywhere" scenario seems more and more made-up. I was at the Garden (not for Bruins, but actually for Frozen Four), and it happened. A few people fell, but then we just walked down. Hopefully that's all that happened and that Twitter guy is a moron.

The escalator that collapsed was the one outside 324-325. I heard that there were people jumping on it and that's why it collapsed. My friend and his date got a few cuts but nothing serious.
I took the one outside of 309-310 down after the game and it was pretty tame.
My thoughts are with the injured.
