bruins hit Thanksgiving 1 overall playing 4 rookies on the bottom two lines, Danton Heinen picked up on waivers, and Jake DeBrusk.

The top 2 centers are Pavel Zacha & Charlie Coyle who I been reading here are third liners

Not to shabby
And anyone who said preseason that we would be 14-1-3 on Thanksgiving with that lineup would have been drug tested. We are living well.

Not sure if this has been talked about, but JD looked relieved as hell after that goal, but it was nice to see the guys give him the little extra love
He definitely did. He's been working hard and has been a gamer all season. He's an all around player now. He's been due to get a goal for awhile now. He must be relieved the weight is off his back.

They don't have Ullmark and Swayman they have 5 wins. Physically dominated for most of the game, did not have their teammates backs and will go nowhere in the playoffs with this lineup.

19year old rookie gets cross checked in the face. No response. Best D_man run repeatedly. No response. Goalie run. No response.

Nice they got the win but this team has a lot of problems that the goaltending is hiding.
They went all in at deadline last season and lost alot of talent so if they did struggle it would be understandable .They never pick high in drafts and in fact have not even had a 1st rd pick lately.None again in 2024 .Sweeney signed a few 1 yr deals to kind of bridge it and I cannot think of 1 so called hockey expert on this planet that had Bruins doing anything let alone this.If it's because of goalies they are winning that's fine I will take it.And far as playoffs lots of teams been sent packing facing hot goalies.

Frederic can go any day now. Will not be remotely missed. A shame, he should have been a better Bruin. This year was his chance to prove last year wasn't due to the linemates and depth role.
It's so strange. His first couple games of the season he looked amazing ... I thought he was going to be one of our top players. I wonder if maybe he has some type of injury (I know the injury excuse gets thrown out there so often...but I just don't get how he can start out so great out of the gate...and regress to this "average" play).

I wouldn’t say he looked amazing to start out the season but he did pot 2 goals against the seats last Saturday. Tonight he kind of bugged me with Florida players running around hitting our players and him looking like he doesnt give a f***-all.

And I was(and I guess still am) 'a Freddy supporter' all summer when he was the hot topic.

He’s on a 23 goal pace though

it's absolutely incredible to me that these are your takeaways from this game. I'm not gonna pretend I don't have times where I want more physicality out of the Bruins, but it's basically all you talk about on here. don't you ever get tired of obsessing over this? Do you ever just take a step back and realize how unbalanced your hockey priorities are when you care exponentially more about wanting some nebulous "response" than you do about your team actually winning at hockey?

The crazy thing is that you're so far down the rabbit hole with this mentality that you can't even see when you have things completely backwards. A couple weeks ago, McAvoy delivered a brutal, dirty headshot to one of Florida's top 4 D. Now the Panthers get a revenge game at home and come out guns blazing looking to deliver your sacred "response". They run around some and dominate play in the 1st, but ultimately the Bruins are unfazed, go up 3-1 and completely suffocate the Panthers in the 3rd. The only fight in the game is a draw and the guy they wanted revenge on leads all players with 27+ minutes of ice time at the end of the night.

If the Panthers fanbase has their own Fenian out there, he's the one that should be livid and embarrassed at his team's lack of response. They had a chance to run McAvoy and the Bruins out of their building and it was an abject failure and yet somehow you, a Bruins fan, are unsatisfied with the results.

If the situation was reversed and the Bruins delivered a wet fart tonight like the Panthers did and lost this game 3-1 you'd be on here saying the same bullshit about how soft the Bruins are and how they didn't respond. It's almost as if you have an agenda that you're obsessed with pushing here and it doesn't matter at all what actually happens on the ice, you'll spin it every time to fit your weird, violence-obsessed narrative.

Ol’ Bag of Pucks Ullmark was sensational

Florida after 12 minute mark was cooked

Poitras & Beecher going to be long term players

Heinen having trouble scoring he should be at 4 or 5 based on chances but this edition plays low plays in dirty areas and goes into corners - he’s aged well, now just score

DeBrusk been good all year glad he scored

Tkachuk continues to be a POS
Beecher makes players on the PK like a 10 year vet. So impressive

It is a huge luxury to have two top goalies as our tandem. I love it, they are keeping the Bruins in every game. The media heads in Canada must be exploding over the Bruins being in first place by Thanksgiving after losing top talent, hoping that the B's would have the biggest drop in points between seasons in history. This team is amazing, I'm enjoying the ride and I'm loving that our goalies are frustrating the hell out of the opponents. It is great!

The Panthers went after McAvoy, which was expected. That late hit and then the elbow to the head should both have been called. Hey NHL, he paid with his 4 game suspension, now protect him from being injured by dirty hits, you know like when you suspended McAvoy? Either of those hits by McAvoy on a Panther would have been penalized. Hard hits yes, dirty hits to injure NO! What a bunch of incompetent idiots. That crosscheck to Poitras's face should be a suspension. It is hard to retaliate when you know the refs were salivating at giving the Bruins more penalties. They won, the Panthers ran out of gas and got embarrassed in the end, they wanted this game.

Indeed, didn't see that coming. QU had a PP chance to make it 3-1 but didn't put it away. Off to New York.
