They don't have Ullmark and Swayman they have 5 wins. Physically dominated for most of the game, did not have their teammates backs and will go nowhere in the playoffs with this lineup.
19year old rookie gets cross checked in the face. No response. Best D_man run repeatedly. No response. Goalie run. No response.
Nice they got the win but this team has a lot of problems that the goaltending is hiding.
it's absolutely incredible to me that these are your takeaways from this game. I'm not gonna pretend I don't have times where I want more physicality out of the Bruins, but it's basically all you talk about on here. don't you ever get tired of obsessing over this? Do you ever just take a step back and realize how unbalanced your hockey priorities are when you care exponentially more about wanting some nebulous "response" than you do about your team actually winning at hockey?
The crazy thing is that you're so far down the rabbit hole with this mentality that you can't even see when you have things completely backwards. A couple weeks ago, McAvoy delivered a brutal, dirty headshot to one of Florida's top 4 D. Now the Panthers get a revenge game at home and come out guns blazing looking to deliver your sacred "response". They run around some and dominate play in the 1st, but ultimately the Bruins are unfazed, go up 3-1 and completely suffocate the Panthers in the 3rd. The only fight in the game is a draw and the guy they wanted revenge on leads all players with 27+ minutes of ice time at the end of the night.
If the Panthers fanbase has their own Fenian out there, he's the one that should be livid and embarrassed at his team's lack of response. They had a chance to run McAvoy and the Bruins out of their building and it was an abject failure and yet somehow you, a Bruins fan, are unsatisfied with the results.
If the situation was reversed and the Bruins delivered a wet fart tonight like the Panthers did and lost this game 3-1 you'd be on here saying the same bullshit about how soft the Bruins are and how they didn't respond. It's almost as if you have an agenda that you're obsessed with pushing here and it doesn't matter at all what
actually happens on the ice, you'll spin it every time to fit your weird, violence-obsessed narrative.
