Jones for starters. Get that guy as far away from this roster as possible!Curious to see who he could replace.

It's not a barn burner of a move or anything but I like the experience he brings.I'm not a fan of the move, but Sweeney and company know more about the game than I do It will be interesting to see if they send someone down.
Maybe he can find the fountain of youth for a couple months until trade season comes around
Even with a couple nice wins, I still think they looked quite snake bitten, especially last night's game where they missed way too many empty nets to keep the Kraken in the game.I just had the same thought. Pasta is probably alright but the timing definitely is curious. Coming after consecutive shutouts where the lines finally look like they’re on the right track.
The reality is, in a hard cap world, you make moves like this, hoping to find this year’s Danton Heinen.
Will it make a difference?
Probably not.
But if you can squeeze 12 goals out of him, any helps stabilize the middle six forward group, there is value to be had there.
I'm not sold on Potsy as an impact guy down the road. And maybe he clicks with Poitras and is able to help bring him along as a center than Geekie has.
Pasta spoke and said he was practicing today working on his game so we are safe.Adding Johnson is solid at that price. He can pot a few and hopefully they are big ones.A good solid move
Just hope there is no connection between the timing of the signing and a potential Pasta groin injury
Tyler Johnson is a veteran presence with a wealth of playoff experience. The reality is, in a hard cap world, you make moves like this, hoping to find this year’s Danton Heinen.

Yeah then Florida can run right over both of them at the same time. Wasted exercise. And maybe he clicks with Poitras and is able to help bring him along as a center than Geekie has.
My guess is he rotates with Geekie and Jones goes to Prov.Curious to see who he could replace.
What this kinda reminds me of is what you see a lot in baseball with minor league deals.Tyler Johnson is a veteran presence with a wealth of playoff experience.
He is a two-time Stanley Cup champion.
As noted previously, he scored 17 goals on a dreadful Blackhawks club last season.
Yes he is 5 ft 8, and he is 34.
Yet, in my view, which is hardly expert, he is a young 34 who can still skate and make smart plays.
He is signed to a one-year, cheap deal.
Best of all, he is versatile.
He can play center, right wing *and* left wing.
He provides depth.
Potentially, Johnson may prove a significant, positive addition.
There is nothing at all, nothing, not to like about this deal.
If it doesn't work out, the Boston Bruins simply move on.
No harm, no foul.
He is what 20. Not close to a finished productI'm not sold on Potsy as an impact guy down the road.
He absolutely has the work ethic and drive but there are times where he looks lost. Basically a better Frederic. I think a lot of the hype comes from the fact our prospect system is so barren guys like him are elevated when in reality they're probably a B level guy in a deeper system. Similar to Beecher.
Still early since he hasn't even played 50 games at the pro level, but idk. I do think he'll have a long career with how hard he works his ass off though.
My guess is he rotates with Geekie and Jones goes to Prov.
I do not like Green Eggs and Ham. I do not like them, Sam I Am…Why don't I just got and eat some hay. I can lay by the bay, make things out of clay, I just may. What'd ya say?
