BRUINS @ SENS, Thurs Mar 13, 7:00pm

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
And here I thought only the Leafs could break the board. So does this mean we get to stop the count on the season as well? I'm in

Terrific win. Huge, huge win. The boys really game hard from the start.

I must say though... Chabot had a brutal game. He generated some stuff offensively but that was maybe his worst showing defensively in a year or two.

This is Boston's first goal. Chabot has the puck. Our 8 million dollar puck moving defender.

Here is another angle

He ends up losing it in what was literally a 1 man forecheck, only 2 Bruins were in the zone, the rest were changing by the bench. Below, Chabot is tangled with the eventual goal scorer. Chabot gives it up, and then does piss poor effort to track his man to the front.

Here is Chabot again... Guess what is going to happen.

Horrific effort to clear it and he actually gives it away and it resulted into grade A scoring chance.

Now.. we all remember Ullmark's unbelievable save.. right? Look at what the ***** chabot was doing:

Why is chabot attempting to tie up someone that Jensen was already tying up. Horrific effort.
First play Chabot was trusting Jensen to take away the forcherckers line, but he didn't , so Chabot got double teamed and lost the battle for the puck. Chabot needed to recognize the man was going to beat Jensen and get behind the net quicker, but Jensen either needs to take away that lane or give Chabot and out, he did neither.

On the 2nd play, I think we were playing a variation of box+1 or a swarm coverage either way Jensen is supposed to pressure the strong side on that play, but because he didn't there was way too much open ice for the puck carrier, looks like Chabot was trying to free up Jensen to challenge and Cozens was trying to pressure the area Jensen wasn't covering, hard to tell with the repay in the highlights. It seems like Cozens got too high up on the play.

It was closer than it should have been, but I am liking the identity of our new lines.

Greig-Pinto-Amadio

-Playing the tough matchups and still scoring. Takeaways, forechecks, cycles, this line is a menace to the opposition.

Batherson-Cozens-Perron

-Batherson’s resurgence is not a coincidence. Another heavy line in the offensive zone. Cozens has re-energized the team.

What a game to be at! Good crowd. On Ullmark's save, at first I thought the puck went in (hard to tell when you're in the 300s and you're old and have bad eye sight), and I don't think I was alone in thinking that. When we finally saw the right camera angle on the big screen the whole crowd went nuts, and the "Ullmark!" chants started.

I don't go to many games, but coincidentally I was also there the last time the crowd chanted "we want playoffs!" (against Columbus a couple of years ago, first game at home for Chychrun IIRC, and of course the game in which he got injured as well). Hopefully this time it doesn't jinx anything!

It was Throwback Thursday, and the 80s cover band at the intermission was pretty good. It's definitely better when it's a cover band. Who cares about the original material of a band I've never heard of?

Probably got a concussion from when the linesman Anton Volckenkov'd him.

Yeah, lines 2 and 3 are now sorted out. Line 1 could use a younger, stronger and faster guy than Giroux. Hmmm, wonder if we have anyone available?

Please don't. Travis Green is going to move Matthew Highmore onto that line now.

He actually did for a shift in the 3rd. I actually hollered when I saw highmore there instead of Zetterlund, lmfao.

I like the top line too.

4th line when Cousins returns:

Cousins-Gaudette-McEwan

But Travis seems to really like Highmore.

We had an ugly 10 minutes in the latter half of the second, which obviously Ullmark came up big after he started shaky (Can't fault him for any of the goals he allowed, but I do feel his positioning, rebound control, and tracking were a bit subpar earlier on compared to what he's shown in the past). But we were dominant for the first 30 minutes, and some might disagree, but I think we played our third period that a playoff team hoisting a 2 goal lead would. We definitely sat back, but we made sure to limit their chances, and the ones we did give, we made sure Ullmark either saw them, or cleared up the rebounds/tied up sticks before it got out of control. Textbook way to play with a lead and try to avoid getting into unnecessary injuries/drama. Overall a great game.

Bring back dark mode this is bullshit
Dark mode is for people that that need to sort out their lighting situation.
