Letourneau 5 shots, anyone watch the game and could maybe elaborate on how he did?

Letourneau going to be a good one - glad I’m not the only one who saw this.

Thank you Donny

Here’s BC associate coach Brendan Buckley:

“He’s got great upside. For a kid his size, he can move around the ice really well, his coordination is awesome for that size, and it’s just going to take a little time. And that’s not a bad thing, we knew that that was the case. (Will) Smith departing kind of changed that plan a little bit. And he himself knew it was going to be a big jump. But he works at it and he’s putting the time in and I have no doubt it’ll come around. I’m sure he wants to get some goals but when you’re that big that young it does take a little bit of time and you can’t push it. I had Tage Thompson at UConn when he was draft-eligible as a freshman and there were some similarities in terms of growing pains. Guys get underneath you, guys get inside you, and those are things that he’s learning now.”

I was really impressed at how well Gasseau is moving around the ice for a big kid...I know he's 2-3 inches shorter and has the advantage of a couple more seasons of development, but his skating/size combo jumps out to me more than Letorneu being relatively quick/nimble for 6'6. Seems like he's definitely added some speed over the seasons at BC. I feel like he has it in him to be a bit of a bully with his size, have seen some good hits and he frequently seems to be mixing it up or trash talking...seems like a nice floor developing as a 4th liner and as a bigger guy who we often see develop later, into their mid 20s

is Ty Gallagher a possible sleeper picked late in the draft? Did strictly a Hockeydb search, nice numbers for a D man, no clue about the rest of his game though
I've posted highlights on the pod showcasing his IQ at both ends of the ice among other things. And not that it means anything but he is one of Colorado Colleges choice for the Hobey Baker award.

I will say this about him: when looking up anything about him, ignore last season at Boston University. I can't go into detail but just pretend it didn't even happen.

You guys did a great job breaking down Ty Gallagher. Enough that I am excited about his potential (and a 7th rounder, too!).

We'll see what the Bruins decide once his season is over. I don't believe he can go back for a fifth year as a COVID kid. @Saxon Eric may have the answer to that.

If he can, he's one of those that have completed 85% of his necessary grades to graduate so he can become a free agent.
