I think he’s doing as expected from what I’ve seen/heard. I think Dom and a few others said he wasn’t quite ready for NCAA yet.

At this point you’re hoping he puts it together at the end of the season then gets top line duties next year.
He is going to need 3 years of play in the NCAA then at least one year in the AHL, then we see what we have.
If he dominating in year 3, getting at least a PPG, then we may have an NHL'r.

Leternaeu has started slow hopefully he heats up soon

I've seen a couple games live and a few on TV. Letourneau is playing better than his stats show. He is involved and making plays. Definitely does not look out of place. He needs to get more into the "good ice" and be quicker about his decisions. I've noticed when he gets into the offensive circles the puck is on his stick a half-second too long and the defense make a play.

Yes, in the zero mistakes allowed world we live in, it was a bad decision.

Oh for sure. I’m not trying to throw shade, really. He knows way more about the game than myself and the vast majority of guys here, but it was an unfortunate thing to come in hot with as a first impression, especially because the tone felt a bit condescending as he was finding his voice.

Yep, he planted his flag on the Senyshyn and went over the cliff with it flying high, which was unfortunate. It is too bad that he took so much shit over it, or was temperamentally disinclined to roll with it. Of course, this board has a long history of running off people that know stuff and he's just the latest in the casualty list.
