Lohrei has been dragged through the Atlantic Ocean by our fan base by this point. What’s one more meme?
I’m just saying the two comparisons on the last two pages have been chychrun and dougie hamilton. Let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves here lol.

The guy comparing him to dougie was complaining that he was only as good as Hamilton. He wants to trade him away because Hamilton isn’t good enough

Thats only partially true. Id trade him away despite the fact i think hamilton is his upside ceiling. Thats not a slight on his game or hamiltons, very good dman. Thats what i think lohrei has the chance to be in 2-3 years. Id still rather trade him if we could shore up the left side D for today and the next 3 years (chychrun) but only because i think the bruins of today have a better chance to win a cup than the bruins of tomorrow sans bergeron, krejci, marchand.

Why do we need lohrei in our system 2 years away if lindholm and chychrun are LHD1 and LHD2 for the next 6 years? We dont. Id rather deal from a strength to shore up a weakness. So him for a young center or established LHD has value to me more so than what he provides, even if he ends up being hamilton, which honestly is just what my eyes tell me. He looks a lot like him in the offensive zone. Im not sure if hes meaner, but offensively he skates around the o zone like him. Thats a good thing. Not sure if he has the shot or any of that.

Basically my grade on lohrei is a B+/A-. Or old school HF maybe a go 8.5D.

I'm not sure why it quoted me, but I never said that...?

My apologies This website used to be a lot easier to use on my phone its been a battle since ive been trying to post again. Lots of random quotes getting added and staying added after i close it down. Sorry
Don’t even worry I have the same issues. It used to work better on my phone as well. Quoting has been fickle ever since the new platform for me.

In Lohrei's D+1 year he was playing in the USHL.
In Chychrun's D+1 year he had 7 goals in the NHL.

This year Lohrei has 2 goals and 20 assists in the NHL.
At the same age Chyrcun had been an NHL player for 3 years and had 5 goals and 15 assists that year.

It's a really bad comparison. Let Lohrei develop, finish the year, play in the AHL for the rest of this season and probably next before you compare him to a legit top pairing NHL player.

For those who s follow Lohrei, how he s progressing, look like he wants to get stronger defensively, be harder to play against and even more physical. Heard that he s shy from physical play...

What is your weird obsession with physical play? Every post of yours involves some mention of it.

Looks like Merkulov has been playing great in Providence. What is his upside like? Any player comparisons for him?
