Oliver Wahlstrom (so) recently committed to be a black bear in 2019, he's 5 9" and 155 pounds at age 13...

I sure hope the Bruins are following his development closely. They could and should offer him a contract as he gets older

Don't understand your fascination with Chudinov, to be honest, but you're not the only one.

A lot of sizzle, not much steak based on what I've seen. Plays hard but expresses off-ice indifference. And NHL people kill him for a questionable attitude/work ethic.

He just doesn't strike me as the kind of *person* who will thrive in Boston even if he has talent.

Admittedly, haven't seen him a ton, but don't care for what I've heard about him character-wise. I like his gritty/on the edge game, but if the rumors are true, I'd see the B's expending their energy on Matt Grzelcyk before MC.

My guess is that he's more than content to be a KHL big wheel, but if we've learned anything from Carl S. then anything can change. I'll address it then, but for now, no time for guys who lack the commitment of others ahead of them on the list.

Fraser at 4 surprised me as I feel he's more Brian Dobbin than Glen Murray and if you're going by potential then Maxim Chudinov should be in the top 10

Cehlarik just outside 1-10 is fair

Would have liked a Sweeney quote on Knight....

As always well done:handclap:

Yah that was odd no Sweeney comment.

Koko getting better by leaps and bounds wonder what Boston does cause Koko is going to push his way into NHL soon

Klart! Anton Blidh och Frölunda har tecknat första Rookiekontraktet i SHL. Blidh flyttas upp till A-truppen.#frolundahc #vigerossaldrig

It's done! Anton Blidh and Frölunda has signed the first Rookiecontract in the SHL. Blidh is moved up to the A-squad.

Jared Knight demonstrates integrity in this Divver tweet:

Jared Knight = character. Credited w/ goal Fri. to snap 27-game slump, he stepped up & said he didn't touch puck. AHL changed it today.

His honesty will probably prompt Cassidy to make him a healthy scratch for the next 10 games citing his lack of production as the reason:sarcasm:

I would be nice to come into this thread and read something new about players on the Pro B's and not posters whining about the injustice of Knight. Its getting so old its not even funny anymore.

Yes its news but its been beaten to death. No ?

All the content here comes from what people bring to the table. If you think there is something missing, then bring it yourself.

Not only that, but when someone pisses and moans about people pissing and moaning, doesn't that just perpetuate what the person is pissing and moaning about to begin with?

ps I think we should confine our pissing and moaning about Knight to the PRO thread

Why?

I have nothing against Wahlstrom and wish him the best, but more often than not, the kids who are excelling at his age are not the same ones who excel as they get older (ie NHL age). There is a lot of data supporting this and USA Hockey now stresses it to their youth coaches.

Wahlstrom could be the exception, or he could be a JAG in 3-4 years. If I were the B's, I'd hold off a bit :D

Why not just start a thread that's called lets whine about J Knight, then you will be on to something. :yo:

I agree that the Knight stuff has gotten to be a bit much, BUT that's because there has been no closure, no rational explanations for it.

Enough about this, particularly in this thread. What happens in the PRO thread, stays in the PRO thread

I agree Glory I guess I should also be pissed about another high pick that looks like he's on his way to bustville or will get the chance to prove himself elsewhere.
