Yeah I hate to pick on just one player, but the sooner the Bruins trade Coyle (if he approves) the better off they'll beThat empty netter for Coyle should help cover up another invisible game for him.
Hope Marchand is ok.
Never watched him play one game where I thought he was actually giving more than a moderate level of effort.
Not once, in what 14 years now?
The guy could absolutely dominate every night if he wanted.
How can a guy with that size and talent go through any 4 game stretch with 0 points….especially in the playoffs.
Jesus, people here demonize guys like Coyle, who have 1/10th the talent of a Malkin for not producing in the playoffs.
Agreed. I’d take Bergeron over him 7 days a week.
When they are out of the playoffs and against a team that's given up. Perfect timing.Bout time only took him 60 games
Just hope it doesn’t go into overtime. Are the Bruins actually back in a playoff race ?4 point swing essentially with this win and the Columbus/Detroit game guaranteeing somebody they need to lose loses.
They can pull even with the loser with a win against the Wild tomorrow.
You may have missed a few games he played in those 14 years.
Crosby, a top 10 ten player all-time, went through those same 4 games with zero points.
That would be a foolish move.
Is this a joke?
Even if he was a bad leader still hope he’s ok!Yes...I hope so too. He is such a leader on the ice, bench and in the room (been told this by folks who know).
Enjoy it.

Marchand is still Marchand.
Not once that I’ve seen. Obviously, we’re taking +/- 100 games or so.
But let’s put it this way.
Nobody gives an all out effort every game.
But, in every subset there is obviously a range.
Few are at the Terry O’Reilly level.
Most would likely fit into a huge middle range.
I am extremely confident in saying that if it were measurable, Malkin would fall comfortably in the bottom 15/20%.
Which is shame because if he were even middle of the pack, it could have been pretty amazing.
Instead, whether or not we’re a fan of his, we’re left wanting more.
That's what I was thinking.Bout time only took him 60 games
I think if you are considering all NHL players, sure. Because most guys have to play their asses off to stay in the league.
If we are talking about the most talented players in the game, then Malkin has probably been in the middle range. Right there with Pasta.
I’ve never once seen him play a game where I think he left everything on the ice.
I can’t say the same for Pasta.
f***ing dogshit take actually. Nearly 1200 games, 1400 points, Hart, Conn Smythe, big part of 3 cup winning teams. Still playing at a high level at age 38.
Is he really playing the "what could've been?" card for Evgeni f***ing Malkin of all people?
Sitting here thinking about Merk amd Lysell or whoever else they say needs more time or whatever.Beecher having 3 goals in 58 games cannot be considered better.
Yes his legs spread out because Joseph spread-ed them for him, Geez
