The Leafa have had a lot of chances in the slot and in front of the net.

I am not sure what you mean.

If you can't see the difference between how Boston owns the middle and how Toronto doesn't, I'm not sure how I can point it out any more clearly.

If Samsonov let in that third goal we'd never hear the end of it. He's been not good enough at all.

I didn’t say he’s been good. I said he hasn’t been particularly bad which I stand by. Swayman has been considerably better though.

Marner 3ft away from the puck celebrating a goal while it's straddling the goal line. Carlo takes like 3 whacks and he still has his hands in the air.

Another perimeter game against a heavy team from the pirouette prince.
I mean, you are talking about our 1RHD im surprised he's even at the goal line he should be up at the point sifting pucks through with little contact

yea pretty setup by pastrnak to a tap in, no shot

second ones a snipe from 10 feet out with no one even near zacha, no chance

third one debrusk walks in and shoots, not a bad shot per say but mcmann had almost an identical chance 20 seconds prior that swayman stopped, probably want that save, especially if its in the playoffs

Thanks man

All I always hear is "Sammy gives up a free goal" or "never makes a save when we need it"

Well down 2-0 we needed that save. It was a free goal and it's obvious Sammy is held to a different standard when people are blaming him when he's not even in the bloody net

The opposite of how the Leafs treat Pastrnak the same as they treat the rest of the Bruins.
They should hit/engage him every shift so that he can't wait for the game to end so he can ice his bruises.
So soft.
McCabe has tried on multiple occasions to hit pastrnak this game

Pastrnak is stable enough and not a p***y so he is able to take the contact and stay on his feet

True. Gotta say, though, Woll is the last place cap hit out of the 50 guys Leafs have under contract. Below every AHL no-name. Realistically, should we slag the guy if he doesn't deliver steady awesomeness every outing?

I feel sorry for him that Shanahan et al have f***ed up the salary structure so badly that this poor guy is being trotted out as some saviour and so the fans chew him up.

I don’t disagree we needed the save. I’m not responsible for what other people have said about samsonov, nor do I think the expectations of a guy playing only his second game back from lengthy injury against one of the better teams in the league should be held to the same level of scrutiny that a player who had been healthy and consistently underperforming for months.

I mean, completely different players. Knies can throw the body and cycle because of his size. Robertson can shoot and he's a nifty player, but if he's not scoring, he's pretty much useless.
I hate to say it, but Knies is pretty useless when he's not scoring too. He takes awful penalties and tries to make overly fancy plays that backfire because he's not quite skilled enough. Even when Robertson isn't scoring, he's giving full effort and is pretty successful at moving the puck up the ice

I like Knies and he's only a rookie so I have to cut him some slack.. but he's extremely unproductive considering who he plays with most of the time. Partly the fault of the organization for being so lean on LW that they need to play him so high in the lineup.
