I’m not smart enough to know the Xs and Os of hockey, but ever since Keefe took over as coach, we’ve really struggled offensively against good defensive teams in ways we did not see under Babcock.

Every team targets McDavid/Dra, Crosby/Malkin, Mack/Rantanen. They fight through

They relish the challenge. Matthews tends to be other way around. He needs to fight it through, use his size, do other stuff that's valuable in a game. Not just scoring

second ones a snipe from 10 feet out with no one even near zacha, no chance

third one debrusk walks in and shoots, not a bad shot per say but mcmann had almost an identical chance 20 seconds prior that swayman stopped, probably want that save, especially if its in the playoffs

I think the core 5 rely too much on their skill and perimeter play and not enough playing with grit/tough hockey.
