Seriously, I am pissed about that. I have been a referee before and one of the first things they teach you is positioning. They hammer into your head that you NEVER go to the front of a net. I am serious, that is the kind of thing that should get a professional ref suspended.

According to NBC he's a class act. Of course, when it helps the Bruins it's all good. Nothing bad out of the whole thing. And kudos to Yeo for taking it. Win win win for all....except the Blues.

I mean honestly as much as the ref is to blame. They teach you in Squirt not to clear the puck out in front of the net.

I am very jealous of the amount of puck support the Bruins players give each other both defensively and offensively.

No, in that situation that's exactly what you do. If Pietro rings it around the boards it loses momentum and the Boston player keeps it onside. By firing it high and hard (which is what the trajectory was) he clears the zone fairly easily.
