How was the amazing Loui tonight ?

Did the fans even cheer for him? I know there was a video tribute for him, but it seemed to be a very subdued welcome back. Better than Seguin's return though, I guess.

Good game by C-J. He's been better during the season than his preseason suggested.

(I still miss Khudobhin, though)

Played a hard game. Could have mopped the floor if Bergeron and Marchand executed on their odd man opportunities.

Still don't like the Seguin trade. Smith is the real deal as a top-6 forward, but Seguin is younger and has a whole different level that he can ratchet it up to. Was 70% at the dot tonight as well. What's done is done, but I'll never be down with selling a player at a a low point. Meh.

Of all the defenseman playing behind Chara, Bartkowski looks the least over his head. Might want to think twice before you include him as a throw in for some loser washed up bottom pairing defenseman. Dude is a legit NHL D.

The stick to the eye that Johnson received knocked one of his contacts out. He played the rest of the game with only one contact.

Wow.

I guess that explains the expletive he spouted after the trainer started patching him up.

Wow.

I am so blind if that happened to me I would have let all kinds of goals behind me-I would be able to see the puck until it was on me.

Johnson didn't let a wrap around goal I either.

I still think this team needs to replace Seids but The defense did have a solid game-Bart looked good and Miller looked good.

Smith is only a year older so the age difference is meaningless.

Seguin has more potential but I don't think Seguin was ever going to reach it here in Boston (he might have moved out of his slump but I think he would have continued to play wing here).

Wow.

Pretty good game for a guy who was harpooned in the head by Chara.

Must be nice to have bad penalties called back.

Anyway, better D, better effort all around, 2 points.

B's outshot them 41-34 and outhit them 36-21. But, but, i thought only teams that don't have posession of the puck are allowed to hit, or something.

i'm gonna channel my inner main board voice and call for a 2 game suspension. that's exactly what the league is trying to take out of the game...clear hit to the head...soupy's dad will probably intervene...blahblahblah

A must have win for confidence. Bergy needs to shoot more. Iggy needs to score. Johnson and the D was good tonight, and the Bruins played physical. No fights surprised me, they were begging for a beating!

d playing good.

Yup.

Dallas may not be a contending team, but their offense has the ability to put up goals, and sometimes a lot of them.

D stood their ground really well tonight.

Overall, a real solid team win, from the net out. No luck involved. Just hard work and solid 3 zone play.

I want to be greedy and want wins against the Hawks and Kings. We need to come out an play a full 60
and Have Rask play like he capable. The Bruins need a full 60 Sunday and monday they need to beat the WEST best.

Agree with this. He needs to see as much action as possible to build up his confidence (and the teams) in his abilities.

i don't give a crap about Johnson and his confidence and his 1 contact lens. Rask. Needs. Rest. end of story. Unfortunately CJ will probably start TR vs Hawks, we lose, and then he'll start him the next day to find his mojo or whatever, only to be pulled after the 1st period. How's that for mojo.
