I'm hoping we keep the one on the bottom and he outscores the one on the top

maybe by the time the avs trade duchene, sakic will be kissing babies and shaking season ticket holders' hands instead of making major hockey decisions. several folks who know the goings on there told me he had no idea what kind of time commitment this job entailed - he's better off in a figurehead role.

Why are we still talking about this? A legit source said chances are around 2% we trade for Duchene
ok sleepyh, July 4th, what would ya like us to yakk about? I`ll chime in as to whether or not I think it`s worthy of a conversation
Pretty cool clip of Duchene

What happened to Kane? Is he still available?
Dvorak would be a guy I would think would replace either Krejci or Bergeron as a top two center, not sure if he plays LW. So barring a huge blockbuster with key pieces going both ways, I don't know why they would trade Dvorak to us.
Actually there is a good conversation worth talking about but Sweeney like a Stealth
I doubt he comes to Boston...Nice thought though.
I guess I am way more bullish on Carlo than most so most trades involving him are absolutely ridiculous to me. If you trade him, you better be getting an absolute stud C back and I don't see Duchene or Landeskog in that category. Carlo+? Hell no.
A lot of the projections on here that I read are a #3-4 shutdown guy but what I saw last season was a guy who can and will likely be an ideal #2 d-man. Kid has size, skating ability, poise beyond his years, and is a "Bruins" type of guy. Plus for the next two seasons he costs less than dirt. 29 other teams would love to have this player.
The thing with Carlo is that he has already shown he can play a key role on D in his first season. He is on a cheap ELC contract for the next two years and I don't see him posting big offensive numbers so his 2nd deal won't be very high either.
A low cost good/great young D improving is very valuable for the Bruins and that's the reason I don't trade him for a 6M player like Duchene.
Spooner, D prospect and 1st.
