DALLAS — The Bruins will be without
Hampus Lindholm for weeks, coach
Jim Montgomery said following Wednesday’s short afternoon practice at American Airlines Center.
The veteran defenseman
suffered a lower-body injury when he blocked a
Justin Faulk shot late in the first period of
Tuesday’s 3-2 win over the Blues in St. Louis. Replays were inconclusive but it appeared Lindholm absorbed Faulk’s shot just above the right knee.
“It’s going to be weeks,” said Montgomery. “So, ‘weeks’ is plural. Don’t ask me next week, please.”
