Just getting ready for a new year . Hopefully not a lot of posts.
That's a lot of surgery for a guy his age. Hope it all holds up!
Didn't he have abdominal surgery before, hernia? That's a lot of surgery for a guy his age. Hope it all holds up!
He has been through a lot the last couple of years or so, with the hip surgeries in 2022 and now this. I wish him the very best, but it might be time retire.
Depends what youre defining the test of time as, because I'd say he has held up shockingly well for his sizeTestament to his talent but talent will never stand the test of time.
Enjoy Brad while he’s in a bruins uni good or bad because he won’t be there much longer

I feel attacked lolThe sentiment is simply that all players eventually wear down and lose their abilities, much like your neck and back every time you sleep on your couch, I’m sure at one point you had the talent to do it, but not anymore
Clean hit My Ass! It's a cheapshot, clear and simple! Closing seconds of a preseason game or regular season game, it's still a cheap shot!.Globe:
Matt Poitras, leveled by stout Flyers defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen in the final seconds of regulation Saturday, remained sidelined and “day to day,” said Montgomery.
Poitras was caught unaware by Ristolainen, who decked him with a big, clean hit directly to the front of Poitras’s right shoulder — the one that required season-ending surgery at the start of February last season.
Postgame, a smiling Poitras said the shoulder was fine and blamed himself for not being more alert about Ristolainen’s presence. He had only himself to blame for making himself such easy prey.
Montgomery said he has repeatedly reminded Poitras of taking better account of on-ice circumstances, finding ways to avoid unnecessary big hits.
So hitting isn’t allowed in the closing seconds of a period,I must have missed that memo,in the 50 plus years I have been watching hockey.Clean hit My Ass! It's a cheapshot, clear and simple! Closing seconds of a preseason game or regular season game, it's still a cheap shot!.

Not sure who made the hit ,but players if trying to make the team will do what they can to make an impression in exhibition games. It was the final buzzer of a preseason game. It was clearly a cheap shot. Is it allowed, yes, but that doesn't mean it wasn't a cheap shot.
Not if you are wearing a Bruin uniform, its all flowers and roses to the opposition. Not sure who made the hit ,but players if trying to make the team will do what they can to make an impression in exhibition games.
