Seems like that 3rd period in Vancouver was a breaking point for the team. And obvious effort has been made to clean shit up since. Hope these lines they tweaked in the third will now help the offense to wake up. Timo with his best game since injury, also Jack may have been playing sick. At 19 and handling all that responsibility so well is insane. We have a good one for a long time.

Its really encouraging to watch how Nemec is baby sitting Siegs. There were a lot of situations where Siegs lost his man and Nemec covered it.

We don't know how those were counted. The Devils were giving up more than their share of blueline-in clear-cut breakaways. That's gone away mostly - there wasn't one tonight.

I think that's probably a quality vs quantity thing because when it came to rush chances in general we were among the best at limiting them but the xG of those rush chances was near the bottom. Also breakaway wise we did give up the most.

My person is really going crazy! He’s so nutty! Every few nights he watches this strange game for about 2.5 hours and pays little attention to me when it’s on! The Devils or something? Aren’t Devils BAD? All he does is talk about bad goals and how much he hates the goalies and it’s so bad! And then he turns into another characters and starts talking about how shrewd of moves the Rags are making and how Torts and Philthy refuses to lose and Pete and Hynes also refuse to lose! And thanks again Fitz? And Jake MacDonald? And thanks for not signing Jon Quick annd letting him go to the Rags? What does this stuff even mean? And then it’s like he turns into this other character and talks about culture of failure and losing! He calls himself Doggo or something. Does he actually think he’s a dog? Just take a look around at the standings. Everyone is passing the NJD by. Torts refuses to lose, NYb can’t be beaten in regulation, Rags at the top of the Metro. Even Rawly and the Pengs are getting it together and WSH playing with so much heart they’re trying to get one more cup for Ovy. Why didn’t we re-sign Boqvist? But signed Tierney instead? Just a throwaway season. Thanks again Fitz!

Bleedred, that was the Devil's best game against one of the best hockey teams in the NHL.

Vitek had probably his best game, and he got an assist in OT.

After profoundly analyzing this game, I have concluded that the reason for this Devil's success tonight is your GDT.

So, my friend, you have a new job. It takes a lot of effort to create a GDT, but you proved you can do it.

All Devils fans, including myself, look forward to your next one, hopefully during this home stand.
