GDT: Bronze Medal Game - May 25 - Russia vs Czech Republic

He put out Vrana in 3 on 3... Faksa/Kubalik/Hronek... crazy combinations.. Hronek is everywhere!
 
My own 2 cents... a bronze/gold/quarter should be 5 on 5 and then a shootout. I get a tournament format can't allow them to play forever like NHL (when there isn't a game after this one).

I also would make the Gold game go for as many periods as necessary since no one plays after that.

I'm in heart attack mode... watching Malkin skate in was awful.


Win or lose.. player of game is Hronek... he's everywhere! Faksa can't score but he is tilting ice away from Hrubec too!
 
If my train hadnt stopped in some internetless hell hole for the last 10 minutes of the 3rd AND the whole overtime, that would have been great! :laugh:
 
How did Hronek not get it? I love how Kovar stepped up, hit a guy and almost set up winner too.

FTR... POTG for Russia is Vasilevsky.

So now we have NHL shooters against Hrubec in a shootout. I don't even know who I'd send in for Czechs... maybe our Euro's since Vasilevsky doesn't know them?
