It was so awesome to read all the crying comments from Russian players and Znarok. What a bunch of sore losers. I hope US beats Russia 5-0.

It will be interesting to see if your boys can back up your words tomorrow against Canada. Everything will be on the line for the Finns. Hopefully, they won't choke.

What my words? They were Znaroks and Ljubimovs words. I have no problem calling out Finnish coach are players if they can't be gracious losers. But whining about penalties and saying that Team Finland was nothing special when you just got your ass handed to you by them is not a mark of a gracious loser.

It makes for a petty and whiny manboys. I actually like Russian hockey teams and my favorite player is Ovechkin. So I'm not trying to bash on them. They just look whiny. Never liked Znarok though.

Jesus Christ that was a tough loss for me,

Which leads me to go for ?

My eternal enemy or Bruce Spingsteen?

I've made my decicsion..................tps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pGOxVBG4bfk

you don't pay attention to what Russian coaches and players say after losses to other teams? Yesterday's quotes from coaches and players are pretty much standard after each and every defeat regardless of the opponent.

Weren't the Finns ******ing about the refs etc after they lost the 2014 final? Same kind of story

I guess it's a part of the sport

I think you are entitled to protest about something that should have been a major, misconduct and a suspension. Namely Malkin cross-checking Haula's jawbone into a heaven of broken jawbones.

It's not really a "a part of the sport".

That said: go usa.

100% hoping that USA wins this.

"Ovechkin arrives so let's have him play 24min while the Shipachyov line that has been our best by far that gets demoted to 3rd line, Ovechkin winning quarter final's best player award for Russia with 1 goal over Shipachyov who was 2+1 in that game, leaving Ovechkin at 1+0=1 after 3 games while Shipachyov is 2+3=5 in those same 3 games" Russia can be left without a medal at home for all I care.

I'd like for the U.S. to pull off the upset and come away with the Bronze, just don't believe it will happen though.

Should be an entertaining game. 4-3 Russians.

Yesterdays loss to Finns were heartbreaking for Russians. Hard to see if they motivadet to win this one. Usa 4 Rus 2

Terrible that the only TV coverage of this game in the United States is online via LIVE Extra at NBCSports.com
I understand if there is LIVE programs being shown on NBCSN while the game is being played like yesterday (Car Auction/Preakness) but there is none this morning.

Not the same story at all...Calls/Non-Calls which went against RUS yesterday (and yes, I saw and commented on them too ) were marginal. In 2O14 they were flagrant and inexcusable. In 2014 really looked like the refs were biased/ intimidated/ unduly influenced

It's always toughest on the team which played the late game and then has to play the early one, the following day. But Team USA, if memory serves, had the same handicap last year, again against the home team, and still claimed Bronze...

Good Luck Yankees! U played a whale of a game yesterday :handclap:

I hope USA wins this one 6-5 and Matthews scores all six goals and Laine avoids winding up in Toronto.

Apparently Telegin broke bones as Atte Ohtamaa sliced his foot off viciously.

Now it turns out that he's been miraculously healed and ready for the match later today. How curious.

This reminds me of the Oscar scene in The Mask(1994).

Of course, it's possible it did hit a nerve and he luckily did heal rapidly. Maybe I should give him the benefit of doubt. Him being on ice at that point in time speaks against that, however. As does him holding both legs as he apparently forgot which one got hit.

Should be a good game today for Bronze medal standards. Never the easiest to get up for, but Russia and USA have a nice history of good games.

Good that he's okay, anyway.
