Czechs are known for generosity.Why do they have trophies here? Aren't the medals enough? Seems strange, you either win a trophy (NHL, AHL, KHL & other elite leagues) or medals (Olympics, WC, WWC, WJC).

Actually that idiot was president of finnish ice hockey association Heikki Hietanen, maybe that greedy bastard learns how to host a tournament.IIHF president or w/e he is wanting EK to raise the bronze trophy haha

Well I mean for the kids, sure.True story though.
When I played hockey as a kid (8-10 years) and we participated in a tournament. Everyone got medals even the team coming last.
