technically thats true but I dont see how Strome woul get Gallies, Rads and Pacs straight up. The only player he might get with a huge add is pacs.

Strome's not going to get any of those wings, hence why I said there is no fit (at this point in the season).

Strome, Hamonic and a conditional second for Patches?

The pick is too high, Hamonic is top 4 on a great contract. woulda offered a 2nd with de Haan but for hamonic i'd offer a 4th. Don't think Habs would be interested though because they would have to expose beaulieu for expansion draft then.

Definitely would do Strome and a pick for Nyquist.

puts isles over the cap though, would need other pieces to be involved. add in prince and it would fit or wait until the draft and rely on rookies to fill in gaps instead of free agents.

McCarron + 1st for Strome.

McCarron can play RW, and he's worth a shot. Strome would be a great fit has Habs 2C long term. 1st round pick is insurance in case McCarron doesn't pan. Canadiens are in a win now-next 2 years mode, and can dump a guy like DD at the deadline or just slide him to wing and/or replace Plekanec with Strome down the road.

Isles coming off back to back 100 pts they aren't trading for a prospect need someone to play now.

I'd be intrigued

Especially if the price reflected this

I'm too emotional on Strome, not dump for a third territory but he infuriates me.

I would be completely embarrassed to look through my old posts on Strome and the expectations I had after his awesome 51 point season. Homeboy had swagger, moved the puck well and could fire it even. Played on the PK and looked good defensively. Now? Wouldn't protect him for Vegas. IDK what happened but I want the old Strome back. The freshman year and Sophomore year was worthy of me buying his jersey. The one last year and this year has me throwing that same jersey to the back of the closet.

Prince wouldn't be enough to add to make it work cap-wise, but if they LTIR Grabo we're in business.

What pick.

I'd give up a 2nd. Strome can still be a very good player, but Nyquist would help us now.

Strome Prince Conditional first(If Isles make the 2nd round its a 1st if not its a 2nd and a 3rd)

A little too much, but the base of a deal is definitely there.

Wouldn't give up Pelech until expansion.

Not downgrading on Strome, have to upgrade if he's being moved now.

AHHH FRIENDSS WE'VE REACHED AN ACCORD!

pretty similar to the other thread we had Lee Pulock and a 2nd for Nyquist.

You call Holland I'll call Snow and we'll get the ball rollingggggggg:yo:

Ahhh, man. We were so close. Snow called Holland and Holland said he didn't know what the word "trade" meant. Snow started to explain and then Holland fell asleep.

:help:

Isles need scoring and RWs. Trading Nelson who can pot 25 at 2.5 milli isn't worth trading IMO. If there is a RW for him deal worth making maybe but I don't see it.

Not all Isles fans will agree with me because Nelson is soft as baby crap, and he is, but with Kulemin, Lee and Ladd combing for like 5 points or whatever for 14+ million I think we need to manage more on who's scoring.

If he sucks again in the playoffs hit me up and I'll let Garth know.

Nelson is a horrible hockey player with a pretty good shot.
