No word about Marcus Hogberg.

John Muse is a 36 year old journeyman who signed a PTO with BPT yesterday. He was with Worcester to start this season.

Hogberg .882 SV% Skarek .916 SV%. I don't think anyone would of thought Skarek would be way better than Hogberg.

Pinho with 2 already today.. think that puts him at the top of the AHL

Another point for Jefferies who remains PPG. Getting to the point where I might want to start watching these games

Absolutely. Watch the individual players, forget about the team results because those are ugly.

Agreed and made worse by awful goaltending
Yep. Not sure but I think they blew a 3-1 lead this morning and lost 5-3 in Springfield.

Also seems that Hogberg is injured but can’t find an official announcement about it.

Totally normal 10:35 AM puck drop. Gotta love the AHL
School field trip games are awesome. As a retiree I love going to those.0

Skarek is so bad, can’t wait until he is gone as he is never making it to NhL. Warren is impressive, plays with edge and is great skater I think isles found something here.

Warren is three years older than George and came into the year with a couple professional games under his belt.

Considering George was called up before Warren, color me skeptical that Warren has anything more than journeyman upside. It's just weird to think NYI has multiple defensemen in Bridgeport with legitimate NHL upside.

I think Warren’s upside is 7th defenseman in the NHL. I think Odelius is likely next man up.

Odelius is raw but he has the look of an NHLer, Warren isn’t far off I think. He is really good skater which is what gives you some hope, I’m not taking top guy but a bottom pair NHLer who can skate and kill penalties and plays with fire. Bridgeport needs better coaching IMO, goaltending also isn’t good. Thompson was so much better of a coach consider all the complaints about him.

Fire Kowalsky.

Am I doing it right?
To be fair, Kowalsky had both George and Hutton to start the year and the team still looked like crap (with a fairly seasoned pro goalie in Hogberg). Kowalsky clearly sucks ass, unless Patrick Roy is just making shit turn to gold which we know is not the case.

We heard it for years about Brent Thompson. The team is no more prepared to play now than when Thommer was behind the bench. Saturday night’s meltdown was largely Henrik Tikkanen flubbing a few. And yes, it starts with Chris and Lou.

Different players, same malaise.

we have to stop being assholes and actually let them (prospects) play NHL games.

Absolutely. One of the things that I liked about Lou Lamorello is that he touted competition. The problem is, it was never really applied.

When things are going good, we should drag one of the prospects up for a few games, give him some experience. The vet that he is replacing gets a rest, and it keeps the fire under his ass, warm. It's easier on the kids this way, because they aren't expected to come in and turn the team around. They come in and experience a team when everything is clicking. That is a good experience for them, that they can take back to the farm.

While I don’t disagree with the premise, your approach speaks to the state of this franchise.

These are the types of moves made by teams on the outside looking in.
