I agree. Was a great save, but its not the SOTY. I will say that he did a great job of getting over and covering that angle, though. But, not flashy enough to claim SOTY.Maybe highlight of the night material but certainly not a save of the year candidate.
So when is he going to get a chance to be the starter?
Maybe when Grant Fuhr takes a cigarette break. So when is he going to get a chance to be the starter?

HAHA. Casey will be back soon too to push Elliott, he's been chasing butterflies. Cant catch them, but he tires really hard.he's playing well as of late but whenever Turek comes back from injury it's back to the pine with Elliott

He needs to have a heavier workload to really be called a elite goalie
Come on, this thread is to reinforce ignorance.. Not to solve it. Elliott is a mediocre backup who made the All-Star team because 30 other goalies got ill. He was only given the title of No 1 when Joseph, Fuhr, Casey and Turek were dealing with arthritis. He's clearly a product of the system the Blues employ which puts alligators, trap doors, snow men and several holograms of Chris Pronger all over the high scoring areas. He does have a heavy work load. I think not the split between him and Allen is something like 4 to 1.
Elliott was hurt for about a month. He is the unanimous starter in Stl
IF Quick made that save it would be awesome. It's Elliott though, so who really cares?I like this one from a few years back the system helped him do this https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ZrOgAKB31Oo#
